LOD-EN044
A Wingbeat of Giant Dragon
Return 1 face-up Level 5 or higher Dragon-Type monster on your side of the field to the owner's hand and destroy all Spell and Trap Cards on the field...
You could use "Pitch-Black Power Stone" like a safe box for your spell counters. since you can move a spell counter in and out of "Pitch-Black Power Stone".
I Think you are talking about "Jowls of Dark Demise".
And yes as all flip effect monster you would get the effect of "Jowls of Dark Demise" after it is destoyed in battle.
I have the doubt corroding my soul"¦ can I turn a face-up attack position into face-down attack position with "Darkness Approaches?
If it is possible, would flip effects activate?
I think it is already answered and densetsu_x even detailed it.
Something you should keep in mind, Monster cards have a Battle Position and a "State" (to call it in some way).
Battle Position:
- Attack Position
- Defence Position
"State"
- Face Up
- Face Down
Sasuke , Silent Swordsmans, etc. can make this a problem, but it is an alternate way to win with "Last Turn".

I read a time ago (or at least I think I read it) something about it but I just don't get it .I have this doubt about the effect of "Cyber Jar".
When "Cyber Jar's" effect resolves which player special summon first??
1- The turn Player?
2- The Opponent...
Maybe they are going use a rule/errata/etc. to change this.
Maybe something like:
"...No, you are not allowed to use Nightmare Wheels on your Solarflare Dragons...you B#%@!#$ "
Anyway, I saw it on the GBA Game (I Know it is not reliable) and the text say that only your opponent monster can be...
In this case yu would be taking the damage anyway.
From the card text:
Nightmare Wheel
Select 1 monster. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, the selected monster cannot attack or change its battle position except by the effect of a Spell, Trap or Effect Monster Card. This card...
This combo won't work because "Woodland Sprite" does not destroy e equip spell card, it just send it to the grave yard.
But if you realy want to use this combo there is a way to do it, it is far more complicated but not imposible to pull (I have won a tournament with it).
"Gearfried the Iron...
