The Ft. Worth sneak ran really well. The room we were in was smaller than we would have liked, so we put registration outside and then started early so that we could get the first waves through. We had something like 350 uniques by the end of the day. We did open dueling for most of the day...

I'm right there with you John. I was planning on going to the Shonen Jump (with Ojamas) in Austin, but now I'm going to wait for the confirmed list before I make the hotel reservations today.

Ugh, this list is awful if true. Chaos, more OTK, and stall decks take a beating from 2X Typhoon in every deck.

My last Normal monster deck, I played Decrees, so Birthright out a couple of Summoned Skulls (or his new 2600 ATK Big Brother), then flip Decree to keep them on the field if they Mobius. Could be some hotness, I might have to build this soon.

Right now, it's Marvel Knights through Legion of Superheroes. After MTU becomes legal March 9th, it'll be Green Lantern through Marvel Team-up. It'll make for an odd PCQ season, that's for sure.

I'll be at the one on Mesquite, TX. This set is looking really interesting, and it's already got me thinking for Modern Age in Indy this August.

Second SJC, unless you're boarding a plane for wherever tomorrow's SJC is right now. :) You get to HJ the first SJC where Final Countdown trumps all Gadget builds for the win though.

I think there's a "Pay 500, Destroy a face up spell/trap" card coming out in the new set, so MST being banned wouldn't be a big surprise at all.

I'd like to see stuff like Widespread, Smashing, and Sakuretsu limited, and let the game be more about whacking each other with monsters, and not just running into trap after trap. Speed the game up some.

I grabbed some on the way to work tonight and pulled a White Horned Dragon. It was a little bent, but I can just flatten it out later. They forgot my fries though... :(

Well, even limited to 1, people were splashing a copy in and relying on Exiled and Last Will to search it out. It's just too dominant, and screws up the meta too much.

GLOCK still played a 9 drop so they could win out in Top 8. I've seen plenty of GLOCK decks win before time is called, it's not just to take advantage of the time limit.

Yeah, I've only done a couple of 10K's and some PCQ's before the cutoff date of April. After April, I did 3 PC's :)
