since your wanting field control, have you thought about adding a Judgment of Anubis? I know I've preached this card alot, but it kills a monster, and does burn damage. As well as making an opponent use a M/T killer prematurely. at least ideally. also, maybe add a couple heavy hitters.

I'd like to improve on poe's suggestion. how about a Nobleman of Extermination? It's saved my life a couple times. or a Judgement of Anubis, just to have something against magic/trap killers.

of all the arguments i've heard, either for, or against V dragon, i haven't heard the argument of him having to land the deathblow. that compounded with difficult summoning conditions, in conjunction with the other player going all out to kill the monster, i don't see the problem with it...

I agree with English Chef. kind of. Gyroid and Dark Door are a great combination as a stall in a burn deck. But i Also agree with Oceanus. Gyroid seems to be a compromise between the best and worst of SR. None of the automatically destroyed parts, but not physically invulnerable.

Lava Golems, and exiled would more than likely be your best bet. And with it being a burn deck, I know it'll have stall cards like area b, and GB. Messenger of peace isn't a bad card to add to your side deck.
