Well, thanks for the official quote, but this is the 'normal case'. Darkness Approaches is the only known card that can change a monster to face-down Attack Position, that might be the case why it was left out at the official rulings. For whatever reason... the 'official Game Play FAQs'...

The only Errata was that the effect only lasts until the End Phase (well, if not the card would be quite playable). As far as I knew, no further changes have been made regarding the card text, so it will trigger off during any players Standby Phase. ;) soul :cool:
