ok the noob qestion is about quick play spells. i dont understand much from the manual.

so when can a quickspell be activted from the hand and when from the field?

the second thing is using metamorphosis with a deal with dark ruler. can you do that?

for example: meta despair from the dark into cyber twin dragon and activate a deal with dark ruler to get the berserk dragon out.

Quick-Play Spell Cards can only be played from the hand during your turn. If you want to play them during your opponent's turn, you must set them on the field first. If you set them on the field, they are treated exactly like Trap Cards and cannot be activated until any time after the turn they are set.

I'm not sure if you can "miss the timing" for this card, but I don't think you can. If you sent a Level 8 monster to the Graveyard, you should be able to activate "A Deal with Dark Ruler", no matter how it was sent to the Graveyard. However, I could be wrong on this one because the last thing to happen was the Special Summon of "Cyber Twin Dragon" and not the sending of the monster to the Graveyard, so I'll defer to some of the more advanced judges on this forum...

A deal with Dark Ruler:
You can only activate this card during a turn in which a Level 8 or higher monster on your side of the field was sent to the Graveyard. Special Summon 1 "Berserk Dragon" from your hand or Deck.

It doesn't require response timing.

I don't see you missing any timing since it starts a new chain. As far as summoning Beserk-since Despair was sent to the graveyard with Metamorphosis, you met the requirements for Deal with a Dark Ruler to allow the summoning of Beserk.
