2 Questions! TLM Related!

My first question deals with Card Of Sanctity and Serial Spell. If i chained SP to CoS would i have to remove all cards again or would i just draw 2 extra cards?

My second question deals with Level Conversion Lab and Jinzo. If i lowered Jinzo's level with LCL since he negates traps would his level stay lowered when he hits the field or would the timing be all wrong?

you couldn't chain Serial Spell, it was removed from play as a cost. His level would stay lowered until the end of the turn.

For the first, also, you wouldnt draw two more cards anyway since Card of Sanctity says "draw until you have two cards in your hand", not draw two cards. You also wouldnt be able to pay the cost for Serial Spell, because, like chaosruler said, it would be out of play.

Jinzo's level would go back to normal at the end of the turn, since Level Conversion Lab creates a condition, much like Waboku or Threatening Roar. So at the end of the turn, Jinzo would go back to being 6-stars.

I think that was pretty much covered, removing the cards from playt is a cost and costs are paid at activation, not resolution, so Serial Spell and everything else you had would have to be removed before you could chain anything to Card of Sanctity.

Just remember that Jinzo cannot negate anything that has already resolved. Much like Jinzo cannot negate Waboku's lingering effect if he was summoned after Waboku resolved this turn.

Not always true, Jinzo negates Continuous Traps that have already resolved, except for Skill Drain, hehe.

isnt Card of Sanctity, the only card you cant chain with your self.

as in, play sanctity then chain something once opponent decides tochain nothing.


oo and you know what kills Card of Sanctity? Magic Drain.

Unfortunatly so. Since paying the cost completely robs you of anything chainable.

And yes Magic Jammer, heck even Magic Drain, would truly suck in that case. <shudder>

Maryokutai would suck too, if your opponent had it face-up. Or they just chain Call of the Haunted and summon Protector of the Sanctuary. XD

In this case, Magic Drain is better than Jammer, because in this case Magic Drain is a free 100% negater and Jammer costs you 1 card
