Thanks! If you disqualify everyone else, it'll just make it easier for me to win! (You couldn't get anything on me even if you tried) Good Luck! You'll need it (especially if you're judging)

Heh. Have you ever been to one of our tournament events? ;) I disqualify people based on the first initial of their last names sometimes.* Or we run through and disqualify people based on a specific card that a lot of people use (like Scapegoat at the Ardmore Regional).*

So, yeah, we'll get ya too. And that little dog!!!

*Both of these are jokes. Really.

I will say to all of the COG community that will be attending this event, or any even in the future. PLEASE make it a point to stop by and introduce yourselves to both Bishop and myself sometime during the event. I know that I would definitely like to be able to put a face with the screen names. Even if we already know who you are, still come up and say Hi!

And lucky for me, I don't run Scapegoat.
Don't worry...we've got a million other ways to DQ you...like...

If you were born on a sunday.
If you have brown hair.
If you're left handed.
If you're online COG name contains the word 'fiend'.

Stuff like that! So we'll get ya!

they'll be the guys taking ur money and wearing the same clothes like a gang of bullies

and lucky for me i got no brown hair, not left handed, u couldn't even arrange the letters in my name to have 'fiend' in it, and i was born on a frimonday so ha

But... That could be ANYBODY! Even people not at the tournament (but I'm sure I'll figure it out anyway)

I'm gonna DQ Simon! I'm also hoping a certain banned player shows up and tries to play, so that we can kick him out. That will make my month. Now I've gotta brush up on my Dark World rulings...

Oooh, that'd be fun too. I'm going to be enforcing the "don't hang out and watch active matches" rule a lot this weekend. I expect that after the first 2 or 3 game losses, people will start to listen.

Good deal. I'll be there all Saturday and Sunday. Tonight is "family night" (though currently thinking really bad thoughts about my family, but that'll pass.).

Hmm, I wonder who's judging the Win a Box tonight then. I hope I get a chance to get out into the dealer's room and get my hands on some Pocky. I'm also going to write up the regional for Metagame.

I will be there tonight, and so will Daniel G. from here, I believe.

I'm gonna be there for all 3 events this weekend.

Cool, that'll be plenty of judge power for the tourney tonight. More importantly, it means I get to sleep today instead of having to fight traffic to get to Dallas.

I went to the regionals yesterday. It was so fun. I even looked though the convention. It was pretty cool. (though, seeing some girls dressed like total [Censored by fiendishly1138 for content) might have helped a little. Good thing it wasn't cold yesterday.)

I never figured out which of the judges were bishop and skey, but oh well. I went 3-5 with my deck. I know. I SUCK! lol. At least the ones I lost were REALLY close (they usually got a lucky topdeck while I had their field locked and a big hand. Either Nobleman of Crossout, Dark Hole, or Giant Trunade) The all said my deck would be great if I just tweaked it a little more, so that made me feel better. Not a lot of variety though. I played: Burn (2), RFG (2), Warrior(2), Monarch/Soul Control (2). I meant to post what I was going to wear (Black pants, black shirt with "Jesus got r Done" in white letters) in case I met anyone there from COG but I got up to late.

I still got there in time, even though I missed my exit 3 times. I did learn how to get to Waco though :) (I let my dad print out directions)

Please tell me someone from COG did better than 3-5!

yeah man i went their with high hopes (yet not expecting a lot cuz this was only my second regionals), i went in with what somebody told me was like a soul control beatdown deck (not sure how that is but whatever i like it) and got second place on the friday win-a-box thing, went 5-3 which got me 23rd at regionals, and my team got to top four.

well on friday i lost to jason halloway but ended the winner cuz i pulled five halos out of my twelve and jason got two out of eighteen packs. but on regional i don't remember any of the decks really except that they all ran two or three dda's so i was siding in Kinetic Soldier every other round but what sucked was that i lost that last round that would have put me in top eight but i didn't care until i found out that All top eight players got the sjc judges play mats which the site said only top four get them, and on sunday team vanguard (my teams offical name) got lucky and made top 4 and loss to team outphase, but hey u win some u lose some

but i want to here if anybody else from cog got in the regionals and how they did

If you were there Saturday, I was the guy in the black pants, white EGI shirt. If you were there Sunday, I was the guy in the black pants and long sleeve blue shirt. Jason Bunch (babyarm) was the Head Judge on Saturday and Simon (skey23) was Head Judge on Sunday. And I was the Assistant TO on both days.
