Boss Spells for a Boss Rush

Today I have been assigned the task of reviewing the Spell support for the Boss Rush! deck. For those of you who don't know, here is a link to chaosruler's decklist:

Now...as you may notice, the line up is a bit...we'll say skewed. ALO and Terraforming are hardly support for Boss Rush! as a card, but I suppose they DO qualify as support for the deck. I think that those two aren't a neccesity in a deck like this (I'd prefer something along the lines of Soul Exchange and/or Brain Control to help buffer the tribute problem), but they do add a bit of flair to the already unique spell line up. I would just like to say, up front, that I think those two in the deck are a moderatly large mistake (AKA. please don't).

Trudging onwards, we see the "core" of the deck (heh heh...puns are but the lowest level of humor) lying in the spell list in a pair: Boss Rush!, which causes more punctuation errors than any other card I have ever seen. It is obviously required for the deck, as it provides a constant supply of high level monsters to swarm the field with. Should you get a Boss Rush! out and keep it, your chances of winning against the standard dech, which packs only D.D. Assailant, D.D. Warrior Lady, and MAYBE a Bottomless, jumps pretty high. The constant flow of 1800+ monsters (darn you Tetran and your mediocre ATK...) should stave off the endless stream of Smashing Grounds, Sakuretsu Armors, and Widespread Ruins. But what happen should you run out of Cores? Well then you...

Restock of Cores (heh heh...purposeful mispellings with intent to cause a laugh is but the second lowest level of humor), using the oddly shaped Pot of Avarice. Apparently, gum-drop teeth provide Big Cores with the fuel they need to fly again, because this ugly little doohicky takes those Cores that you have been wailing through thanks to Boss Rush! and puts them right back where they belong: snuggly in your deck. And you even get to draw two cards, which is a nice side effect. I think chaosruler made a minor mistake in construction here, as Pot should be run in twos to insure that you never run out of Cores, and that you draw the ugly bastard (can I say that? If not, I'm sure DJ or some other mode will bleep it).

There are a few other little things in the spells that help things flow a little more smoothly through the game. Trunade helps to open up a clear backfield so that you can ram them in the face with your spaceship swarm, and wipe up your Boss Rush! should you decide that it doesn't belong there anymore (you know, like if you want to summon or set). Provisions does the latter of that as well.

So, there you go. Part 1 (should have been 2, but SOMEONE didn't post up the monster support yesterday, though it should seem obvious what it is...) of the Boss Rush! Deck of the Week stuff.

I think...I think...<is zapped by electro-collar>

That was a trick question! I'm not SUPPOSED to think is what you said, and then you go and ask me "What do you think?"! You are an evil evil person chaosruler...you and your "ten thousand volts of logic"...
