Ceasefire v.s. Skill Drain

The Tittle Explains this question completely.
Will Ceasefire work if Skill Drain is on the field? Because Skill Drain "is" on te field, i would think that it strips the effect monsters from there effects. Im just a little confuse on this subject. thanx

Skill Drain doesn't turn Effect Monsters into Non-Effect Monsters or Normal Monsters. It just prevents Monster Effects from resolving. Ceasefire or The Spell Absorbing Life would still count them.
