Create a Theme Deck week.

Hi, I know the rest of the guys dont know about this, but I was hoping that maybe, we can have a little fun in the Advance Format Forum and the Deck Garage. So in order to do this we will set up an event. Its just between me and you. So for this week we will have a "Create your own Structure Deck" week. Thats right starting on a wednessday and ending on a wednessday. [Thursday for thouse whom it already is Thursday] So exactly at 12:00pm Start posting up your own theme decks.

Remember it has to be cost effecient.

mening the deck will run for max $12.99 + crv [You will break the limit though] AND will mean that itll be eather super easy to get or super hard. You can use cards that havent been released as a good way to "Release" cards.

No konami doesnt look at these threads so the unfortunate part is that your deck will never be created. But in a plus side we will have a lot of fun. So get to it peeps :D

This can increase and only I know how itll increase.

each one will and can increase the monetary value of your deck. but you wont know that till I decide to post it up. You will see me put red tags in your threads with how much it costs. I will also keep a record of the value on the computer.

There is one specific prize [Its a mystery] for this event. So try your best ey. :)
 
I'm afraid I'm confused too... Do you mean that we make up a deck like the structure decks turning rare cards into commons or...?

You make the deck and then it will be sold for $9.99 + crv depending on were you are at.

Im gonna post up something right now. including what the 2 "new cards" will be.

so in our structure decks, should we add like ONE new ultra rare that exists in japan but not here like urs with the marshmallon?
 
If you want :D Or you can even make it up aslong as you have the text for it so we can know what it does :D

Basically for the week you will be acting like a Konami employee and your job is to create the next hot selling yugioh Structure deck :D
 
sweet...i do like marketing...:sheep_red..and my other question was, do the decks we make actually have to be good?
 
I like how Krazy misspelled "Wednesday" and forgot to capitalize it both times he typed it, but spelled and capitalized "Thursday" perfectly, both times. :D *poke*

So... I STILL don't get it. Yup.

Do we reply here with our decks, or create threads in the Advanced Format forum?

Inu: Does it have to be good? hmm it all depending. Remember your selling this item, So the best you make it the more itll be worth.

The Deck should end up costing as much as a OCG structure when their hot of the shelves. Ive seen thouse things go as far as 50 dollars. :D
 
Im confused by this. At best this is what Im getting. We have a bydget pick a theme build a structure deck and sell. Sounds cool. I guess it needs a name!
 
its actually your there but not quite, [so you can have complete control] basically the general objective like I told Inu, is the following:

You work for Konami. Konami has asked you to make the next Hot selling Structure deck that will make them alot of money. They sell each deck at $10.99 + crv, but collectors tend to up on the price depending on how much people want the deck. So no you are sitting at home trying to come up with a deck list that will sell like hot cakes, but keep everybody happy at the same time. [ People tend to hate structures with alot of reprints of alot of good cards ] So for the whole week you are thinking up of decks that will be very hot and tempting.

We currently have the following decks:
Defenders of the world : $10.99 + crv [No Increase in price, still cheap]
Reign of Monarchy : $13.95 + crv [Collector Value]
Plants' Riverbed : $15.99+ crv [Originality + Collector value]


Remember, only because a deck is posted doesnt mean I wont be looking at it. If the deck isnt hot, it will eventually drop in priceys. Why? because nobody wants it, and that means the company needs to find a way to sell the product.

So remember pricey can highten and drop.

This is basically a game for you to test how good you are at 1. building a original deck and 2. be able to sell that deck to numerous people for a resonable amount of price.

and no Wallmart will not have exclusive rights to these decks. lol
 
Oooohh me like! Well, this is going to be... intresting!

Can I post 2 stuctures? Can I huh can I?! Besides, they usually come in pairs ^_^;;;
 
If your going to create a genuine Konami-style Structure Deck, then you muxt include at last one new card that nobody will ever play. :wink2_jed
