hey all! haven't posted a deck here for a while coz ive been a bit mixed up for a bit but i think ive finally found something that i wanna try to play...now i haven't seen many other crystal beast decks for reference so i could sure use some help for the deck...im open to any suggestions..=]

Hey whats up? I haven't talked to you in forever. Anyways, I like your inital build. It's very similar to mine. I'll show you mine for reference. Mine is currently doing very well, x-2 at a San Jose regional, and is undefeated in locals. Sweeping Champion Box tournament after tournament. :p

i like ur build too!! its like definitely something i wanna try out...

are there any decks uve faced with this that uve found uve had trouble with?
 

At first I thought a Macro/D-Fi deck hurt the deck, but then I found out that CB have the option to go to S/T zone instead of getting removed. The only problem about vs-ing a Macro-D-Fi deck is when and if you play abundance, because you send 4 for the cost then they all get removed... so yea =/

Overall, the deck works good against all decks. If you can get 3 in the back row and at least 2-3 in the front row, then your set against Demise decks. Just have 2-3 Rug in your side and I think you are good (against Mobius / Raiza)
 
lol yah...the become s/t's comes in handy against macro...i guess MAYBE i can side in some twisters or something =]

i likey the sound of take on all decks...thanks n!!! ur build helped a lot!
 
Actually you can't activate crystal abundance if you can't send them to the gy, so yeah, unless you get rid of macro/df, you are definitely in for a hard time.
 
Extract from UDE rulings on crystal beasts.

If "Macro Cosmos" or "Banisher of the Light" is active on the field when a "Crystal Beast" monster is destroyed, you can use its effect and still place it in your Spell & Trap Card Zone.

If "Dimensional Fissure" is active on the field when a "Crystal Beast" that was being treated as a Continuous Spell Card card is sent to the Graveyard, it will not be removed from play, because it was treated as a Spell and not a monster.

Unfortunately for abundance
You cannot activate this card while "Macro Cosmos" is active.

So Dimensional fissure has no real effect, but macro cosmo will stop abundance.
