Cyber Jar and Dark Hole?

Nothing can replace both those cards. Cyber Jar is a whole new ballgame of it's own. All other Jars works way too differently.

Dark Hole, nope, not even Lighting Vortex comes close to it. I mean, first of all, there's a discard cost, and 2nd it only bust face-up monsters. These days there's alot of set monsters so Vortex is pretty bad card. Nothing matches Dark Hole other then Raigeki so nope.

Your only hope is to add the new "not-banned" cards and try to work with them. Like add Graceful Charity and Mirror Force.

trying to find "replacements" is the biggest mistake you can make in this game. Everyone who tried to find "replacements" when the fist ban list came out missed the whole point of the list of the new list in the FIRST place.

The first ban list brought Mystical Space Typhoon from 3 to 1. everyone starting using Dust Tornado, completly ignorant of how useless it was in a format that encouraged cards that can be chained to Dust Tornado anyway. All in all, with all the power cards gone, people played faster without fear of them, Dust Tornado was too slow, people chained to it, and it was the worst top deck ever in a format when the majority of the cards in someone's deck needed to be usable in any situation.

The purpose of banning Cyber Jar and Dark Hole was to prevent people from using the cards and replacements for them. Even more importantly, they were banned to encourage people to over extend themeselfs in their (Dark Hole & Cyber Jar) absence.

Instead of trying to find replacements for these cards you should be trying to find a way to take advantage of the fact they are gone. Also, make your deck able to handle the amount of over extending people will do.

If you want something similar, use Lightning Vortex. I personally think it's still not worth more then being side decked.

Needle Ceiling is definatly something to consider for your side deck, especially with Treeborn Frog in your deck.
