Dark Magician deck for Dec. 3 Regionals

yes, but think about the following situation.

you just top decked your favorite "staple" breaker.

on my board you see Kycoo the Ghost Destroyer and 1 face down spell or trap.

im giving you the advantage of finding me with only 1 set s/t (usually ill have 2-3)

so now the question is.

should breaker come out and swing or should he break and figure out a way to defend later.

remember breaker isnt what will help you win the game unless you decide to attack.

If you decide to breaker, then your left getting hurt on the next turn.

Breaker isnt, in no ware shape or form comparable to mobious, while it is a tribute, it does a much better job than breaker.

so now we go back to the situation.

what would you do?

when you attack, you will hit a Sakuretsu Armor.
When you break, you will see it was a Sakuretsu Armor.

but mind you, this is giving you the benefit of the doubt in seeing me with only 1 set s/t

usuaully i have way more on the field. Heavy Storm never scares me.

Im also not the only player that is known to do this. so think about it.

im giving you a creature that sees play, and is my favorite card. I can tell you right now, Kaiku the exorcist is not by any way shape or form a staple card.

so again the situation is.

breaker vs. Kaiku with a set s/t behind him.

breaker is a decent card, but you can defently do without it.

and i dont play the tcg any more unfortunely, i decided to play the OCG, so if you want to step into a game on apprentice sometime, itll be fun :) Ill even use an exact replica of my deck :D
OCG is pretty jank right now...and the situation you described, depends on the time in the duel, check his grave, check his hand, check his deck and it from there, its the same situation if you had any other monster over their monster, do you attack or do you not. Basically what you said is just a generalized statement that can apply to any monster. Mobius is still the same with your previous statements about BTH, so you really haven't proved anything with that statement.

Now back to your first situation, Breaker at least gives you that decision, what about the other monsters, if you had a typical hand would set and pray they dont have exiled, noc or w/e. If you set s/ts to protect, then you ll probably end up behind in hand. So...that situation is very vague, although it might happen alot, how you would play breaker is up to you and the situation.

Another thing, if you like setting so much stuff without being afraid of getting hit by heavy, good for you, it just means my hand most likely be >>> yours. Now if I don't have breaker, and you set like 2 s/ts, I still have to hit one of your cards with one of my monsters no?

In conclusion, you basically stated a fundamental situation in the game and decision making. A similar situation could have been drawn up for BLS, but that didnt deter alot of people from using it no?

You can also pass to the opponent, depending on his hand size and w/e. Breaker is still a 1900.

you know what the incorrect part of that statement was..

Im using Kaiku. you in no way shape or form can remove monster in your grave to summon a soldier. :)

The situation is easy. just attack. the monster has a 50% chance. so why not?

Two things wrong in your statement :\. First of all, I am referring to a situation in which Soldier runs into facedowns, do you rfg or Double Attack or switch to defensive? And soldier can be reborn-ed in some form.

Now if the monster was breaker the odds could be better no?

Lastly, in your kycoo situation, you could always just summon it and pass to opponent (with or without setting protection).

I would also like to ask you to logically refute my views and take that quote off the sig before you look like an idiot.

I have to completly dissagree. Breaker is amazing, and can easily be a two for one trade in your favor. So what if it gets bottomlessed a couple times, so will any of you other monsters. And just so u know, not everyone uses a Bottomless Trap Hole.

Ok time to actually review this deck....
Lots of flipping and facedowns, expect to see a few mystic2s in game 2 and 3. Not sure if you have the power to beat the opponent down, since I don't see how you would fare if your tech mons are denied. Traps look just all over the place,DMF and Phoenix is not needed. Hammer Shot will just Backfire if you field a DM. The funadmental issue I see with this deck is that it ll have hard time against aggro/trample. Skilled Dark Magicians are missing also.
