Dark Magician Knight
(DARK/Warrior/7/2500/2100)
This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by the effect of "Knight's Title". If this card is Special Summoned successfully, select 1 card on the field and destroy it.
Dark Magician Knight is, in my opinion, a bad version of Dark Magician. Being a nomi that has far less advantages than its required monster (Dark Magician) and a one-time effect that isn't all that great makes me not like this so much. Obviously, it can only be used effectively in a Dark Magician deck, and a Dark Magician deck should not be centered around getting this guy out at all.
This card's combos are few. All he does is destroy a card when summoned, and that doesn't open up too many combo windows. He is 7 stars, so I guess you could summon him, destroy a card, and morph him into The Last Warrior from Another Planet or St. Joan. Or another 7-star fusion. Being a Warrior gives him a few advantages too, but not in a Spellcaster deck, for obvious reasons.
Surprisingly, unlike most other nomis, this one gives you an equal trade off. Since he can be summoned from your deck, hand, or graveyard, you can summon him from your deck to get an even advantage "“ two cards for two cards, assuming you destroy one of your opponent's cards, and if you destroy a Premature Burial or Call of the Haunted, you get even more advantage out of it. The 2500 ATK is good too, as is the 2100 DEF.
Sadly, being a nomi also gives this card disadvantages. If you summon him from your hand, you basically got the bad end of the deal. And really, I can think of a thousand other things to do with Dark Magician that I'd rather do.
If you do use it, definitely summon it from your deck or graveyard, if possible. Unlike most nomis, I'd say don't use more than one, if you're going to use one at all, because Dark Magician is valuable, and this isn't. And do destroy a card that will help you out in the long-run.
Stick to using this in a Dark Magician deck, or not using it at all, preferably.
Ratings:
Advanced: 2/5. Just not useful.
Traditional: 1/5. Even worse.

Sealed: --/5.
