Dark Necrofear

If my oponent only has a face down monster on there side of the field when my Dark Necrofear is destroyed, can I equip to that monster? If so what happens, is it flipped face up?

No, it can only equip to a face up monster.

You cannot equip any Equip Spell card to a face down monster. Since "Dark Necrofear" is considered an Equip Spell card at that point, she would just stay in the graveyard.
