(Continuous) Frozen!
Monsters are not considered to be on the field during a turn in which 1 or more Ice Counters are placed on it, only for the purposes of declaring an attack or an attack target.
(Ignition) Icicle Swarm
Remove 2 Ice Counters from the field. Special Summon 1 “Icicle Warrior Token” (Aqua / WATER / 1 Star / ATK 300 / DEF 600) in face-up Defence Position. That Token cannot be Tributed in the same turn it was Summoned, and when it is destroyed by battle, place 1 Ice Counter on 1 face-up monster. This Ability can only be used during your Main Phase.

(Continuous) Blud Rite
Once per turn, if a Zombie-Type monster you control would be destroyed, you can discard 1 card and that monster is not destroyed.



Illusionist Faceless Mage
(Spell) Dark Change of Heart
Pay 1000 Life Points and select 1 face-up monster your opponent controls. Take control of the selected monster, until the End Phase of your opponent's next turn. The activation and effect of this Ability are treated as the activation and effect of a Spell Card. This Ability can only be used once per turn during your Main Phase 2.



Infernal Flame Emperor
(Trigger) Spontaneous Combustion
Activate when you Tribute Summon a Pyro-Type monster. Remove from play up to 5 Monster Cards in your Graveyard. Destroy the same number of Spell or Trap Cards on the field.
(Continuous) Torrid Magma Burst
All Pyro-Type monsters on the field gain 200 ATK and DEF. All Insect, Plant and Zombie-Type monsters on the field lose 300 ATK.



Infernal Incinerator
(Ignition) Overburner
Select 1 FIRE monster you control. The selected monster gains 1000 ATK, and is removed from play during the End Phase of this turn. This Ability can only be used once per turn during your Main Phase.
(Continuous) Volcanic Might
All FIRE monsters on the field gain 500 ATK.



Inferno Hammer
(Ignition) Shockwave Shot
Pay 500 Life Points. Flip 1 face-up monster your opponent controls into face-down Defence Position. This Ability can only be used once per turn during your Standby Phase.



Injection Fairy Lily
(Trigger) Booster Jab
Activate during the Damage Step of a battle involving a monster you control whose ATK is lower than or equal to 1000. Pay 2000 Life Points. That monster you control gains 2000 ATK, until the end of that Damage Step.



Insect Princess
(Continuous) Band of Insects
All "Insect" monsters you control gain 300 ATK and DEF for each Insect-Type monster on the field.



Insect Queen
(Ignition) Insect Hive
Special Summon 1 "Insect Monster Token" (Insect / EARTH / 1 Star / ATK 100 / DEF 100) in face-up Attack Position. This Ability can only be used once per turn during your End Phase.
(Continuous) Sweet Nectar of Power
All Insect-Type monsters you control gain 100 ATK and DEF for each Insect-Type monster on the field.



Invader of Darkness
(Ignition) Black Invasion of Soul
Discard 1 card. Inflict 500 damage to your opponent for each face-up monster your opponent controls. This Ability can only be used once per turn during your Main Phase 2.



Invader of the Throne
(Ignition) Hostage Negotiation
Pay 600 Life Points, and select 1 monster you control and 1 monster your opponent controls. Switch control of the selected monsters. When you activate this Ability, your opponent can pay 1000 Life Points to negate the effect of this Ability. This Ability can only be used once per turn during your Main Phase.



Invitation to a Dark Sleep
(Compulsory Trigger) Anti-Ante
Activates when a Deck Master is Special Summoned. Inflict 8000 damage to its owner. This Ability only activates once per Duel.



Iris, the Earth Mother
(Trigger) Gaia Heart
Activate only as Chain Link 4 or higher. Select and activate 1 of the following effects:
  • Add 1 EARTH monster from your Deck to your hand.
  • Select 1 EARTH monster in your Graveyard. Special Summon the selected monster.
  • Draw 1 card.
This Ability cannot be chained to.



Island Turtle
(Ignition) Terraform
Pay 300 Life Points. Take 1 Field Spell Card from your Deck or your Graveyard and activate it. If the Field Spell Card was in your Deck, shuffle your Deck afterwards. This Ability can only be used during your Main Phase.
