DeVille Devastation

I was finally able to aquire a second Mazera over the weekend, and so here is my long awaited Mazera deck. My Reshef deck was just not working so I retired it in favor of this build.

Gigantes is there for some Magic/Trap removal, as well as its special summoning ability:

Remove an earth-type from play, summon Gigantes. Tribute for Dark Ruler, etc.

This wasn't my insight so I can't claim it, but it has great potential.

Soul Exchange/Brain Control just for the fiendish factor.

Thoughts, etc are always welcome!

So how many Goblin Elite Attack Forces are there?? 1, 2, 3??
anyway, if there is a typo and something else is supposed to be there right on.... even so, i like the deck.... Very Fiendish indead.... with Mazera being dead weight once he hits the grave, how about a Dark Necrofear to shake things up?

love the use of Gigantes in here.... good job..

You have 6 4stared monsters for attack in your deck and I think they are too many : 2 Lei Lei , 2 Elite , 2 Orc.

You can at least replace 2 of them for one Dark Necrofear and one Spear Dragon or Enraged Battle Ox for damage against defence.

With the good mix of EARTH, why not:
-1 Waboku/Soul Exchange
+1 Spiritual Earth Art - Kurogane

Definitely a nice surprise.

If you end up going with GAFs you might consider a Reinforcements of the Army or Warrior Returning Alive which will give you better access to Warrior of Zera and double up on GAF.

*applauds* Nice. Excellent idea, using GAFs. Might try -1 Pandemonium, +1 Terraforming, so you have fewer dead draws. I wonder if maybe two Creature Swaps is a little too techy for a deck like this. I mean, you're already going to have huge dead draw issues, why make it worse by including tech cards? And also, does this mean our trade is off?

Pssvr, no our trade isn't off. Could you include something beside the Mazera though (equal value is fine).

I was testing it a little last night and I was thinking that Necrofear had to be included somehow. I think cutting 1 Orc for it would work.

There are eventually going to be 3 Goblin Attack Forces (Right now I have 2 Lei Lei's in place of 2 GAFs).

Also I realized that waiting for Mazera is slow. Very slow. I still want him there though and would appreciate thougths on how to speed things up.

Creature Swap might go as well. I will probably take one out for a Scapegoat for stalling, and add a Spiritual Earth Art. And I might add a Warrior Returning Alive for the other Creature Swap.

Reinforcements of the Army will go in once I get the GAFs from the structure deck.

Also with the Gigantes summoning and the 2 Cost Downs, I was thinking of adding another tribute. Maybe a Jinzo...I don't like using him, but I might have to. It would be sweet to get him out as a normal summon...

I'll probably be teching some Enrageds etc, but Enraged only works for type, not attribute.

To be honest, I think -1 orc, -1 Ha Des, +2 Necrofear would be a good idea. With three Giant Germs, NEcrofear really shouldn't give you trouble, and the defense/field presence could really help while you're waiting for mazera.

I am liking the Necrofear angle more and more. I could also cut out the Cost Downs (perhaps) giving me more versatily there as well.

Hey DMU. I think I mentioned it over in the Lair, but just in case. A Terraforming and Reinforcement of the Army will help speed up the special summoning of Mazera, you might have to go to a third, but other than that, you should be getting all the pieces together pretty fast.

An idea: let's say that you replace the two Cost Downs with 2x Reinforcement of the Army. Now, -2 Indomitable, +2 Dark Blade. Then, we could go -1 Soul Exchange, -1 Creature Swap, -1 Deck Devastation Virus, -1 Torrential Tribute, for +2 Dark Factory of Mass Production, +2 Raigeki Break. Can you say discard abuse? Plus, it would give you yet another way to use Zera, in case you just can't draw him, you can Recycle him.
