Divine Wrath VS DDWL

good question. Because D.D. Warrior lady states AFTER damage calculation. I'm going to go ahead and guess a replay does not occur, D.D.'s effect is negated, and D.D. is sent to the grave if it already hasn't by damage calculations.

Having judged at GenCon So. Cal. and last weekend the regional in Des Moines, IA I can certainly see that there are a great many that will have to become much better versed in the TIMING of certain effects. Keep in mind that Divine Wrath must be activated in response to the ACTIVATION of a monster's effect. Note that the activation doesn't necessarily coincide with when you decide to use the effect. As well, it would be a good move to study up on just what monster effects are continuous, there are a number of monster effects you might not consider continuous that are indeed deemed so by Konami.

On that note, look for cards in future sets to rely on such technical information. If you want to keep the edge in this game I highly recommend doing your homework. I plan to write an article or a long post on this topic soon.

Yeah... Divine Wrath is going to be an issue. I had someone attempt to use it on Stealth Bird. I have to admit I was a little stumped. I went ahead and ruled that Stealth Bird would be destroyed since its effect would only trigger when flip-summoned.

There is an exellent thread on Yugioh Realms that Fantasyzz (Gary Haynes) is heading up there on Divine Wrath. I Can't give you a link at this moment but I will as soon as I can.
