Today, on the swiftly depleting forum known as the "Deck Garage", we find ourselves staring into a most daunting task: the E-Hero Deck. It is a travesty of a theme and a hurdle for any deck builder. However, it's not nearly as difficult if you concentrate on the GOOD ones. Let's take a brief look at a few things we will NOT be using in here, and why:

1) Avian- Two words: Fusion subs. Anything with a 1000/1000 basestat without an effect and without any real added bonus if just clogging up the deck.

2) Sparkman- 1600/1400 isn't bad (as a matter of fact he is the second best E-Hero stat wise...), but he doesn't DO anything outside of being a 1600. Plus he is part of three pretty bad fusions (Tempest is card disadvantage in a box, Thunder Giant is a pushover, and Shining Flar is a model of inefficeiny)

3) Bubble Man- Ew. Bubble Pot never works, and his fusion is deplorable.

4) Cards that support only one E-Hero- Bubble Shuffle and Sparkblaster require two E-Heros we are going to be avoiding. Good luck getting them out.

5) Hero Signal- Some people are going to scream and yell that this is a good tutor. I am going to say one thing: RotA. does everything this does (essentially) and then some.

Good then. Now, what does that leave us with E-Hero wise?
-Elemental Hero Bladedge
-Elemental Hero Wildheart
-Elemental Hero Clayman
-Elemental Hero Burstinatrix
-Skyscraper
-Miracle Fusion
Bursty isn't great, but we are only going to be running one anyway as a sort of "side outlet" for our fusion subs anyway.

Let's start with a monster line-up

Monsters: 18
1 Elemental Hero Bladedge
2 Mobius the Frost Monarch
1 Goblin Elite Attack Force
1 Breaker the Magical Warrior
1 D.D. Warrior Lady
1 Exiled Force
3 Elemental Hero Wildheart
2 Elemental Hero Clayman
1 Elemental Hero Burstinatrix
1 Sangan
2 King of the Swamp
2 Spirit Reaper

Bladeedge isn't all that great, but is required for the Wildege fusion which is, in my opinion, the best. Plus he provides a little more beef should you really need it. Mobius is to handle the ever-growing threat of a scary backfield. GEAF is for those obnoxious Cyber Dragons that seem to be popping up everywhere. Wildheart and Clayman are the best level 4 E-Heros. King of the Swamp tutors for the one Poly in here, and also serves as a nice outlet for Miracle Fusion later on.

Spells: 17
1 Dark Hole
1 Heavy Storm
1 Terraforming
1 Polymerization
2 Reinforcements of the Army
2 Miracle Fusion
3 Smashing Ground
1 Mystical Space Typhoon
1 Scapegoat
1 My Body as a Shield
1 Premature Burial
1 Snatch Steal
1 Skyscraper

Spells are pretty basic here, with My Body saving your incredibly difficult to fuse out Fusions. Smashings for removal, Scapegoats for a bit of defense (and Gaia knows you'll need it), and the Terraforming to tutor the one Skyscraper (it's really not that great, but provides crazy stuff with Wildheart). RotA for warrior search, so on. Pretty basic stuff.

Traps: 6
1 Torrential Tribute
3 Sakuretsu Armor
1 Level Limit - Area A
1 Call of the Haunted

Traps are the basic defensive line-up with the Level Limit as tech to help you take those obnoxious Spirit Reapers down a peg. Also, Wildedge becomes a positive BEAST with that thing out, owning Goats, Reapers, Jujitsus, Merchants, and Magicians galore.

That gives us the passable decklist of...

Monsters: 18
1 Elemental Hero Bladedge
2 Mobius the Frost Monarch
1 Goblin Elite Attack Force
1 Breaker the Magical Warrior
1 D.D. Warrior Lady
1 Exiled Force

Total: 41

There is a better way to build an E-Hero deck in my opinion (but that's for a Christmas present, not a Winter Solstice persent), but this is a pretty solid decklist. D.D. Assailants could be added if you have the money (they are roughly $15 more expensive that GEAF), but not all of us are that wealthy. So...I don't know...it's always hard for me to close these things. I try to go off on a zinger but none seem to be coming to me rig-
