guess what?
Exchange of the spirit
you can only activate this card by paying 1000 lp's while there 15 or more cards in your graveyard. both players swap the card(s) in their graveyard with the card(s) in their deck. then shuffle the card(s) in each new deck and put it on the deck zone

now at the pre-release i heard alot of people down talking on this card because u can only have one and u have to have 15 cards or more in ur graveyard and other things that were wrong about it but i mean when u have 15 or more cards in ur graveyard ur opponent will most likely have around the same number so why not use soul release to get rid of the good things and the fact that u can only have one makes it hard but thats what "a cat of ill omen" is for which is a flip effect monster that lets u add one trap card to the top of ur deck and if u have necrovally on the field u can add to ur hand which sounds like alot of fun to me. but i also have a few qustions first with cat of ill omen it doesn't say anywhere on it to shuffle ur deck so do u get a free look at ur whole deck or did they change the card text, and i wanted to know if i use emergency provisions on exchange of the spirit would exchange and emergency provisions go to the graveyard and be shuffled back as part of ur new deck

Regarding Emergency Provisions, yes Exchange of the Spirit would be in the graveyard when the effect resolved and thus would be swapped over and become part of the new deck.

This card is too situational for general use. It really is a great card in a deck built around it (can end games very very quickly). But outside of an Exchange deck you likely won't run into it very often.

unless you use it as a finisher.

really its a nice finisher for graveyard control decks.

which isnt hard to do, just some kycoo's and some Soul Releases and itll be over in no time.

and i dont think Exchange of the spirits swaps back in the deck dude.

becuase the whole card needs to resolve and once its done itll go into the graveyard.

If I can get my hands on one, I'll be splashing it. Yeah, it is splashable. Any kinda RFP deck that relies heavily on Soul Release could splash this. I mean, even if you can' deck them, you can still take away all of their powerful cards, right?

One of the fastest decks I know of is the Rescue Cat deck. A simple 2 card combo will net you 6 monsters in the grave in one turn:

Activate Last Will.
Summon Resuce Cat, declare priority, and tribute it.
Special Summon 2 Beasts + Rescue Cat from Last Will.
Declare priority, tribute Rescue Cat #2.
Special summon 2 more Beasts....

By the end of your turn (and if you haven't won already), you will have at least 2 Rescue Cats, 4 level 3 or lower Beasts in your graveyard, and a Last Will, which is nearly half of the cards required for Exchange of the Spirit.

Rescue Cat decks may also include Giant Rats, Nimble Momongas, 3 Humped Lacooda (VERY underlooked), and Card Destruction. Provided you can handle the field with the new deck (after switching grave and old deck), you should be able to win within a matter of turns.

Dude, the question was if it was sent to the graveyard by Emergency Provisions. In which case it will. Ordinarily it wouldn't.

yes, but that is basing off a OTK, there is no need to having Exchange of the spirits in the deck. best thing to do, is just combine Morphing Jar with EoS.

preaty much whipe the graveyard, then flip summon Morphing Jar, check if opponent responds, then activate EoS so then you do the whole swap action discard and draw, and it should be over by then.

My brother ran an Anti-Meta deck for a long time.... mostly anti-chaos... but he ran Kycoo, Soul Release, and Fiber Jar.... he would get rid of your monsters , and other cards, then restart the game with Fiber Jar.... was a cool deck ... really mean and affective

Anyway... i can see this card taking the place of that Fiber Jar ....
