Exodia OTK / FTK

nkarunatilaka

The Syndicate...
The Power from Within
Deck Author : Neil Karunatilaka
Deck Total : 40
Deck Purpose :
With all the possibilities of getting just the perfect hand from this deck in only your first turn, its quite possible to pull of the combo. 1x Card of Safe Return out on play, and the Manticore loop going and you win by drawing out you deck; Exodia.
With all the spells jammed in there, and incase some of the pieces hit the GY and the match isnt going as planned, there are plenty of ways to get what you need and win the Match.
Deck::
Monsters : 11
2x Manticore of Darkness
3x Thunder Dragon
1x Exodia the Forbidden One
1x Right Arm of the Forbidden One
1x Left Arm of the Forbidden One
1x Right Leg of the Forbidden One
1x Left Leg of the Forbidden One
1x Toon Cannon Soldier

Spells : 26
3x Reload
3x Card of Safe Return
3x Monster Reincarnation
1x Card Destruction
3x Spell Reproduction
3x Toon Table of Contents
3x Dark Factory of Mass Production
3x The Shallow Grave
3x Monster Recovery
1x Monster Gate

Traps 3
2x Backup Soldier
1x Compulsory Evacuation Device

Any help on this would be appreciated. Thanks for looking and Enjoy!

That is a good point. However, I was going for the "kill their beatstick and absorb an attack the next turn" stall - ish effect of Indomitable Fighter. A matter of opinion, I suppose.

PS *groan* stomach hurts... fair... bad food...

why not just use Emesarry of the afterlife?

if you want to stall why not stall while collecting pieces?

you can easily toss in 3x of that and 1 Sangan + having the manticore loop.

Because Emissary doesn't kill their beatsticks. This will be in my next review, Alternative Stalling II.

Which can take time. Which means slowing the opponent down. And killing their beatsticks WILL slow them down.

Ah. Lots of suggestions. I will look over these later tomorrow, as im somewhat sleepy right now. :drugged: lol.

Thanks all-

(the Nimbles look somewhat nice in the build...)

there are only 11 monsters in this deck, non which will help him defend against anything.

will he lose from outright attacks its possible. actually way possible.

the only monster he can use to defend is the Cannon Soldier.

so i dunno, if you ask me emesarry sure as heck seems like a good thing to add.

not only does it keep the players lp's safe, it gets them the pieces needed to win the game.

heck i dont even see tomato's to go with that Compulsory Evacuation Device.

i know the purpose is to use the manticore rush, but wouldnt it be better if hed have 2 ways of collecting pieces instead of 1?

No. No. No. Indomitable. Always. See, you can discard it from your hand to save manticore, so even if you don't draw the other manticore, the first will be good defense. Trust me. I once built an exodia deck that used 3 Mystic Tomato, 3 Sangan (don't say it), 3 Witch of the Black Forest (DON'T say it), and 3 emmissary of the afterlife. You know what? It didn't even work. Because the deck was unable to maintain field presence, big angry monkeys and shocking machines would always kill me before I could get all the pieces.

dude, you dont need that much search, your bound to get them most removed.

at the time when you had that chaos decks were running rampant, it was hard as nails to win with out using the same cheesy deck.

now its a new list. its harder to just raw out "nobleman" your face down creatures.

and people using SSLV2 isnt a big deal. considering all that Sangan and emesarry have to do is end up in the graveyard from the field it doesnt matter.

the tomato's yea they have a condition that need to be fullfilled but the other 4 dont really have a big deal.

people already run Sangans to search for who knows what, but they do.

its not odd. trust, just adding atleast a few monsters will help out in collecting pieces.

wel complex mind, the reason is becuase he can cause a deck rush with 2 Manticore of Darkness and an active Card of Safe Return.

were at the end phase you discard a manticore to revive a manticore in the grave and the you sac that one for the one in the grave and you keep going till you decide to stop.

what does this mean when there is a Card of Safe Return on the field? that you will be drawing cards becuase you will be special summoning monsters to the field back and forth.

well not monsters but monster.
