Explain your Name/Avatar/Signature

I started this thread on another forum and the members had alot of fun. So I thought I'd post it here. Originally it was just to explain your name, and then other members made the explain your avatar and explain your signature threads. So I thought "why not just combine all three and save a little space?"
So I'll start off.

D.M.E.N. is my initials. That's right, two middle names. Long story short, My dad wanted Michael, my mom wanted Edward, so they compromised.
Great Maju Garzett is my favorite monster in the game. So that was an easy choice.
And my signature, well that seems self-explanitory. Worst part is since that day, now my brother announces to all in the house when he takes a poopy. :sick
 
I was just looking for something cool that expressed my passion for YuGiOh! and it hit me...It is the logic (or lack thereof) of the rulings that excite me, so Dark Logician was born. The Caos (intentionally mispelled) is a joke about BKSS rules. My tag is another reference to the fun of YGO rules. Eschew means to avoid; Obfuscation is confusion; Yet the words often do just that. And the avitar is what it is.
 
My signature explains my name :)

My avatar is there because I'm a DM fan, and that version of DM is the coolest of them all! (It's also not available as a standard avatar on this site)

My tagline is a silly play on Marylander that just goes with the avatar :D It's also how people from Harford County, MD pronounce "Marylander"

Digital Jedi? Gee, I don't know. Could have something to do with a total obsession for all things Star Wars or something like that. I dunno.

Okay, the real reason is because the first forum I ever joined was a Star Wars forum. Being new to the Internet I found I didn't like the attitude or unfriendliness of a place that was supposed to be about discussion I ended up leaving it and my old User Name, Episodic Successor, behind. Later on I joined a Street Fighter forum (and I don't even play Street Fighter) because a friend of mine who I hadn't talked to in years was a member there. The only thread I participated in was a freestyling thread, so to come up with something akin to what I liked, how I freestyled and how much I like all things digital, I chose the name Digital Jedi, not knowing there was already a website and a few other nimrods with that name.

I like Solar Flare Dragon, pretty much my favorite card, and it was the only default avatar this forum had when I joined that suited me. Plus, no one else was using him. I don't like switching avis all the time, I like being identified, so I just keep coming with variations on his theme.

At the moment, you all know what my sig is about. Plus pimping my own work has never been beneath me. :D
 
Dragons kick ass and i love green so emerald dragon just seemed right to me.

My sig is simple isnt it. Most places i have an image my girlfriend made for me and its great.

My avatar is green. i like green nuff said.

Umm, it started off as my tag moniker back in the day when I didn't know any better. I still use it on canvas and paper, but the squid, like the octopus, has many tentacles. I have many interests and each tentacle I grow is another facet of who I am and what I like.

I capitalize the Q as a reminder of my grafitti days and as a play on other Q words like Question, Quixotic, Quality, and Q-Bert (best old school game ever invented)

Influenced by my time outside the states, I realized that the one viewpoint always spouted out to us may not be the right one. Villains, are those who could not be brought down by jealous minds. Fidel Castro was a leader, whether your view on him is favorable or not. And not one of 10 presidents from the self-proclaimed "greatest" country could stop him.

I use Castro as the example because people are too sensitive about more current affairs such as Cesar Chavez and the Palestines, and I have little interest in debating arguments with people who get self-rightous based on limited information and egocentristic needs.

I don't even remember where I found that.... Pretty, ain't it? Probably pretty apt, too. My mind isnt always put together well.
 
MightyDingo: This was stolen from one of my Fantasy Football Teams. My Mighty Dingo team is now going on 11 years with 6 Championships. (The Dingo reference goes back to a dog my wife and I owned named 'Dingo'.) Fantasy Sports, like Fiend decks ;) , are another hobby I spend too much time at.


My sig: No cute saying or meditative thought. I have tried that and gone away from it for the same reason I don't have a tattoo. Sooner or later it's gets old for me or my feelings change. I guess a sig is easier to change than a tattoo, but for now I will use stay with my banner for the Lair. My Fienish allegiance has not wavered. :D The Fiend signal was something Jason_C made in response to my whining about E-Hero support and it has stuck in my sig.

My Avatar: Twin-Headed Wolf just fits. He was one of my first Fiends and he goes well with the MightyDingo theme. I, like DJ, also prefer to keep my avatar consistent so I will usually use him anywhere I can.

LOL! that's the exact same logic I apply whenever I start thinking about a tatoo. I keep designing them and then change my mind. Course, for me, its the avie that keeps changing.
 
my nick: while i've never tasted rice and crackers together i don't think i would like them to much together, but the nick is something i came up with since most nicks i could think of were taken when i tried to make my aim account and it pretty much means that i'm half white and half korean

my sig: well besides the fact that not to long ago i became a comic book reader and that wolverine is my fav out of the x-men, he was my fav in marvel vs. capcom 1 and 2 and for the zelda i loved attacking the chickens then having to run from the army of chickens that would try to kil u

my avatar: well when barron mad king of the dark world came out it looked cool and had an ok effect for dark world monsters, then i got an ultimate of him and was like this is uber cool looking and i got to make a dark world deck and was like man i love this card

Not to mention you're from the Emerald Isles, known in days of yore to have their own Dragon inhabitants.
 
Ah, warm beer and tacos. What more could you ask for? I'm half Mexican/half Puerto Rican. My wife is black. We're good friends with a couple where the husband is white and the wife is Asian. We're also friends with her brother, who's married to a Dominican girl. And we each have children. Whenever we all go out to eat, I ask the hostess if she has a reservation for the Rainbow Coalition. :D

Naw, what will happen is in 2000 years there will emerge three completely new races of man, each with amalgamated traditions of previous cultures. One will be a race of dark skinned people with Asiatic eyes and blond hair who really prefer Sour Creme on their Tacos rather then non-Dairy Creamer. The second will be a small, diminutive race of bronzed-skinned red heads, who are all proficient in a form of Martial Arts that involves the use of macrame and Legos. And the third will be a fair-skinned group of green haired individuals called the Nomads, even though they don't go anywhere. The X-men make up the pantheon of their religious deities and any existing footage of Hale Barry will be restricted to viewing by religious clerics only.

They will refer to our generation as "The Splintered Ages". :D
 
Well, I can understand why you forgot to mention the fourth race, as they are so elusive and only rumors remain of their existance, but they are bald, with pale blue-green skin, torso only, with long, nimble-beyond-human-sight fingers and large tunnel-vision eyes. They eat only salty and sugary pre-packaged foods and spend all their time in front of large screens and small keyboards. Known only to their own kind, and speaking only in binary, they are the technoids

Heck, I have relatives on every continent. Im half-Colombian, my wife is pure, Dublin-raised Irish, and I have aunts, uncles, and cousins in France, Uganda, China, Canada, Panama, Ireland, England, Italy, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, and the US. (we breed like rabbits, apparently!)

Alright, here's about mine. My name is Oceanus, since for the longest time now, I've just been an Oceanus, I love the water type amongst many attributes of life. I do have a very competitive water deck in my opinion, and I'm always showing people how good it is, I adore it. Oceanus is apparently a greek titan god of old (or so I understand from the Age of Mythology information XD), so ya, it's a good name. My signature is the first siggy I made, and it does go with this water theme of mine. It has the blue colors to it, and the quote, as well as the character is linked to my long short story I've written and have posted around various websites. I love the story I have to it, and all I need is to buff each chapter up with a whole lot more detail and settings and events, and I'd have me a nice little novel, I plan on getting back after that goal in the summer. The story's main character begins as a little rich boy, and adapts quite the character change by the end, alot happens, defiantly no time to go over it all here. My avatar is also related, since Daedalus happens to be a water type, which fits perfectly with my others, espicially because Daedalus happens to make an appearence (or at least he's how I see it) in my story, so that's all that.
 
Well i've got my name because i was Nicknamed in college Fabian Barthez(Barty for short) and he was rated as one of the world's best goalkeepers in football and i just put 64 on the end because it seemed like a good idea at the time.
Ive choosen the dark magician of choas because he is one of my top 3 favariote monters.
Fainally my Signature i have jut put on two of my favariote quotes, my two of my decks and 6 video from video google that i have personally uploaded on to there.
So there you go.
