flint.. dead or alive?

player A summon gemini elf and end turn.
player B activate flint during his turn on gemini elf and end turn.
player A tributed gemini elf and summon summoned skull.
here's the question, where does the flint goes?
does it equip to summoned skull or is it sent to the graveyard?

"A monster equipped with this card cannot change its Battle Position or attack, and has its ATK decreased by 300 points. If the equipped monster is destroyed, select 1 monster on the field and equip this card to that monster."

A tributed monster does not count as having been destroyed so Flint cannot re-equip to another monster and so is itself destroyed.

example:

i've on my field mad dog of darkness, my opponent got spirit reaper...

i play flint on spirit reaper... it must die... now flint must be equipped on my dog?

Yes because "Spirit Reaper" in fact was destroyed after it was equipped with "Flint".

As long as the Spirit Reaper was destroyed and not just tributed.
