I was very surprised to see this forum come up when I searched for my screen name. I was looking for my website, and this forum came up first. I must have registered shortly after I started going by deviaan on most websites. Reading my old VS System posts was a bit surreal. I don't remember _any_ of those decks, and clearly the kid who wrote about them knows much more about the game than the guy surfing around for some nostalgic hits.

I was, and am, a bit of a lurker. I'm always happy to find old school communities around--especially in the age of "social media". (Also, as an aside, I know that emdashes are supposed to be a sign of AI writing, but I've been using them for a while and really don't want to stop. I don't know if folks are doing AI disclaimers, but I thought I'd be safe).

Thanks for the flashback, I'll wander around here whenever I have time.

I don't know how I missed your post last August, other than 2025 was rough year for me. So sorry to have missed you when you posted this! I always try to keep this site alive for nostalgia's sake and in the possibly vain hope we can revive it yet again.

I very much miss VS.

No worries about AI creeping in at the moment. I had to disable new registrations a couple of years ago because I was getting a hundred bot signups every day.
