Just to let you know, I'll be upgrading the forum again within the next two weeks. This will address not only some bug fixes, but add additional functionality, including, but not limited to, the adaptation of your forum profile and Buddy List into Social Networking elements and your very own Picture Albums and the ability to create your own Social Groups within the site.

As an update, a store for items to purchase with your credits is still under production and will be implemented as soon as it's completed. The developers are making certain their core script is bug free before dropping another complicated script on top of it. Remember, your credits can currently be used to purchase Living Avatars for your profile.

During the upgrade, we should be offline for a day or two. But, if I do my planning right, you won't even notice the offline time. Just in case I run into a problem, though, I like to give myself, and you, a little leeway. Thanks for your patronage, and I'll see you around the forums.
 
Well I was wondering when the upgrade would take place.

BTW Ive seen the social networking side of things for the new version and it aint that bad. Will we still be allowed to change the look and feel of it in whatever skin ya set us up with?
 
Yes you will. Integrated into your profile will be a series of controls that will let you alter the CSS info of your member info page. I've looked at a few profiles, and it's actually not as possible to do a butchered MySpace-esque page as I would have thought. Though I'm not sure I can create some preset templates. That was part of a modified version for vBulletin, and I haven't seen that in the built-in version, but I truthfully haven't dug that deep into the Admin CP controls for that option yet.

I have seen a ton of additional modification tabs for the new profile pages that I'm likely going to add onto. I'm also going to enable Profile Pics this time around (something we've always had, but we've never turned on) so you can have your own profile picture aside from your avatar, both of which are tasteful displayed in your profile page.
