lol.... Mayhe thought you said VS players were in Denial, Funny stuff.

To answer your question, almost none... Leech is basically the only card I can think of off the top of my head from the current silver age that can do any character effect negation.

oh wow, so there currently in silver only exists 1, not counting how many they are thinking on developing and so forth right?

hmm, its interesting. XD

I don't know how denial works in Magic, but if it's straight negation there isn't much in VS. What we do have is outright prevention or manipulation of payment powers, which is where these free effects would be tripped up. Fatality, Emerald Assassin (KO a resource you control If you control four or fewer resources, negate target payment effect or non-ongoing plot twist effect), Field of Honor (During each opponent's first attack in which he controls an attacker each turn, that opponent cannot play plot twists or use payment powers), Maxwell Lord, Black King (Target character loses all team affiliations this turn and cannot use payment powers this turn) and others.

yea denial is just negation, in other words to deny the opponent or opponents from doing something. Its the same thing both games. I just wanted to know how much of it existed in Vs. to see how ballanced Free would be. But if its a hand full of cards thats kool, but im assuming most of them are team affiliated so the probabilities of just any misc. deck to have payment power negation isnt too high right? well not counting the draws and so forth right?

also is the free effects all once per turn or can they be activated multiple times?

All of the free effects are once per turn. They aren't really gamebreaking effects. They do give you an advantage but nothing your opponent can't get around. Most players won't bother negating them when there are other effects that do a lot more damage.

ah i see, so the ones in recovery are harder to do then some of the others, but the others have weak status so it makes up for nothing really.

hmm, very interesting.
