Freed matchless vs A. forces

STRIDERLGN

Neo The SwordMage
Card Negate the effect of a Magic Card that specifically designates this card as a target and destroy it. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, you can add 1 Warrior-Type monster from your Deck to your hand per turn instead of drawing 1 card during your Draw Phase. Your Deck is then shuffled. Ultra Rare

For every face-up Warrior-Type and Spellcaster-Type monster on your side of the field, increase the ATK of all Warrior-Type monsters on your side of the field by 200 points.

I'm assuming he thinks that there is a conflict between both cards, but since A. Forces does not target Freed he will not negate the effect or destroy the card.

Right Freed would stop change of heart, dark core, etc., but not cards that just classify a type or provide an overall boost like Sogen, A Forces, Banner of Courage. But it would be a "gearfried" against Fusion Sword, Big Bang Shot, and other equips.

actually no, because it negates and destroyes, gearfreed just destroys.

so if you Premature or call freed, freed would go right back to the graveyard, but Freed matchless wouldnt, because it would negate it and then destroy it.

Still, the point is Freed kills the card. Now granted it would negate the effects of it first so for Big Bang, that card wouldn't destroy the monster as a result as it was "negated" but the main point I was saying is that it really couldn't be "equipped" with anything as that would target him. :pchate: :spam:

This was a bit hard to read. Remember, it is Gearfried, not Gearfreed. Makes it easier to figure out what you mean.

And Call isn't a Magic/Spell card, so Freed wouldn't negate that one.
I took my Freed out of my Warrior deck, it was too costly to get onto the field (and I had too many high-level monsters).
