it would be at 2800 , because it is reset once it leaves the field ... so when it comes back it isn't a normal summon so it goes back to 2800

The question was already asked on the judge's list and answered. Fusilier goes to 2800.
Assume that IMT separates from effects unless otherwise stated on the FAQ for that specific card. (or mentions that specific card otherwise under IMT)
(the reason i am posting this even though it was already answered was specifically because of the "Exceptions" on the FAQ)

I know the LV monsters that "Level Up" at the end phase of the turn are an exception. For some reason the condition allowing them to "Level Up" by their effect is not removed when they are removed from play for the turn.
