Great Maju Garzett DCR-063

This is just one of those cards that little kids play in there so called Beat Down Decks. At first, I payed no attention to the card at all since it would get Special Summoned from the graveyard with 0 ATK/ 0 DEF if it were to be destroyed. But recently, with the release of Monster Renicarnation, this guy has a home in a Beat Down Deck, or Necrovalley deck even, if Necrovalley decks played Gilasaurus more often, a Gearfried deck, or some sort of deck that special summons monster often. Now then, double the ATK at the cost of Tribute Monster, then do the math.

- Tribute Berserk Gorilla, 4000 ATK points
- Tribute Skilled Dark Magician, 3800 ATK points
- Necrovalley face-up, Special Summon Gilasaurus from your hand, Tribute away for Great Maju Garzett for a 2800 ATK point monster
- Special Summon Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beggining, remove your opponent's pesky D. D. Warrior Lady, Tribute away and make way for 6000 ATK point monster, make a direct attack for 3/4 of your opponent's life points
- Butterfly Dagger Elma + Gearfried + Magical Marionette + Great Maju Garzett after Magical Marionette gets infinitley powered up (even though it would be pointless) then activate Mystik Wok for no apparent reason and gain a massive amount of life points.

The ony down side to this card is when a monster of such weak ATK points is tributed for Great Maju Garzett.

- Magician of Faith, double the ATK value and gyou get a 600 ATK point powerhouse... wow.

This is a great card to be playing with in a deck with one of my favorite under rated cards....Ultimate Offering. In conjunction with this combo try Physical Double or Fusilier Dragon The Dual-Mode Beast

Fiends in general have a good amount of great single tribute monsters. Try Ultimate Offering with them. The tributes only feed the graveyard for Dark Necrofear anyway

Hmm... your right. This is a powerful card. It'll be absolutely brutal in a beatdown deck. Support it properly and your opponent can kiss victory goodbye. There a few cons to this card

For one thing, you have to look out for magical cyclinders. Its almost as deadly as using Cyber-stein and attacking with the fusion you just summoned. Having a low atk monster will mean low double atk. This card is a little restricted in which decks can use him properly. Summoning use to be a problem but not anymore with Reincarnation.

Fusilier is indeed a excellent card to tribute for this. Garzett copies and double the ORIGINAL atk and def. Summon fusilier with or without tribute, this guy stills double the 2800 it started out with.

[Sniff] An awesome arcfiend. Yes, I know it doesn't have archfiend in its name but the jap one does and you can't exactly ignore the archfiend armor he's sportin'
