Hammer Shot

One simple question.

There is confusion among some players about "hammer shot".

I have a monster with 1900 ATK in attack position and my opponent has an attack position monster with 1800 ATK.

I activate Hammer Shot.

Which monster is destroyed?

I would think my monster. So I would not activate the card.

Some players do thinking it destroys the opponent's monster.

Hammer Shot
"Destroy 1 face-up Attack Position monster with the highest ATK on the field."

Fissure
"Destroy 1 face-up monster with the lowest ATK on your opponent's side of the field."

If an effect only affects one side of the field it will specifically say so in its card text. So your 1900 ATK monster would be destroyed.
