ok.. I have run skill drain to the utmost for quite some time... I have taken so many measures to make it work well, however, there are still those that can hurt it.... here are a few cards that definitely are used on a CONSTANT basis around the game, and a few that arent..... they will help YOU as well..

Heavy Storm
Royal Decree
Jinzo
Mobius the Frost Monarch
MST
Giant Trunade

now we have Raiza ... stupid monarchs.. lol

Now, here is a very underrated card that could be used that most people DONT run too much of anymore, but once it gets it, the rest of the skill drains are gone as well....

Nobleman of Extermination


all of these cards are things that can hurt a skill drain deck.. with the monsters however, you must make sure that they are out before skill drain is activated or else it is not useful for its effect....

NOW... remember that you can do well with Graveyard effects.... IE... Searchers (mystic Tomato, Giant Rat).... just grave effects monsters like Newdoria, work well too.... If I were you I would side out a couple monsters that get wonderful help from skill drain... like Fusilier Dragon, or Chainsaw Insect... they are wonderful beatsticks that once brought to field by their effects, dont get limited on their ATK... oh ya.. good cards to side in.... maybe even kozaky or giant kozaky....


Hope this helps... if Skill Drain is your nemesis, use those cards that HURT skill drain, and also use those other cards that get helped by it as well.... use YOUR weakness as a strength, adapt to your opponent's strategy and you will certainly beat him.... good luck....
 
well nobleman wouldnt work since they can just chain it, but definitly decree, mobius, jinzo, and put the wildhearts up to 3 since his effect stays.
