Help Me Fix My Bro's Deck .....

Ok... my brother has been out of the game for a bit, so he hasnt really seen much of the last sets since Flaming Eternity... he decided to try out VS.... but is now getting back into the Yugioh swing again.... so he is making his old Aggro style deck newer and trying to make it work in this format...... Budget Low, but CAN trade.... please help me fix his deck up for the new format.... thanks...

Ok.. in Parenthesis I put that I think he should replace those cards with, but that is going off of what he currently has.... I would help him make this deck Tourney ready so he can use it say.... at regionals when they get there soon.... but he needs to run it this weekend at tourneys so i want to be able to adjust it in time so he can make trades.....

Let's do this, and keep him under budget as best as possible without changing too much.

-1 Spirit Reaper (I think 1 is enough)
-2 Spear Dragon (heavy on monsters, and these seem most out of place)
-1 Needle Worm (again, I think 1 is enough)
-1 Marauding Captain (again, I think 1 is enough)
-1 Waboku
-1 Magic Cylinder (for Ceasefire)
-1 Monster Reincarnation (the discard hurts this)
+1 Morphing Jar (sure, why not)
+2 The Shallow Grave (look at all the flip-effects...)
+2 Last Will/Reinforcement of the Army (though I'd only add 1 RotA if you went that route)
+1 Ceasefire (get them flip-effects off)
+1 Book of Moon (again, look at all the flip-effects)
+1 Don Zaloog (for extra hand control and goes well with either Last Will or RotA)

Hopefully you both agree with the fixes I've made here. I think they'll be beneficial.

But I would suggest taking out both Needle Worms and adding in 2x Smashing Ground. Also maybe takeing out a Creature Swap for Card Destruction. And finally takeing out a Hades and a Slate Warrior for 2x Dekoichi the battle chanted locamotive <--more draw power. OH and droping the 2 Magic Drain for either 2 Dust Tornado or 2 sakeratsu armors.
 
Chalk one up for your bro. Keep it as is, except go ahead and change all things mentioned in your original post. Leave Waboku alone.
