ok so ive bee reading the rules on all the horus card and it say:

You can activate "Level Up!" and send "Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV 6" to the Graveyard to Special Summon "Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV 8" because sending 1 monster to the Graveyard is a cost for "Level Up!" and if a card is unaffected by Spell Cards, that only refers to effects, not to costs.

it says that horus level 6 can be used as a cost for magic cards, so cards like metaporphosis will work horus level 6

thoughts and opinions please

The reason behind that is that Horus is already in the graveyard when the spell card resolves which is why a card like "Level Up" can be used. He's not on the field to have the spell card negated by his effect.

So yes, you can offer Horus LV6 as a cost to activate a spell card such as "Metamorphosis".
