RIP Jacob KT 2/16/06
To the mods: Digital Jedi has given me permission for this thread.

So I applied for full sponsorship to nationals this year and was denied for the 3rd time in a row. I then E-mail Alex Charsky asking if it was too late to get partial, hotel only, sponsorship if I was able to get a ride. In addition, I asking him if he even recieved my submission, since I never recieved a direct response. He responded saying he did in fact recieve my submission, and that it was not possible for partial hotel sponsorship.

Wanting to judge nationals, I start looking for a ride I can bum, as well as the floor of a hotel room. Finding both, I just need to get a confirmation on the plans and then e-mail Charsky. Before I get that confirmation, Charsky E-mails me saying that one of the judges cancelled their hotel room, and that I was one of the people on his back-up list.

I replied, accepting his offer, citing how I had found a ride. About a day later, I recieve an e-mail with 2 attachments, one being a schedule saying I need to be at the convention center at 2pm Friday. I called everyone I knew and none of them are getting there that early by car, and asking them to change their plans for me would just be unrealistic.

So I'm forced to purchase $230 in plane tickets I can't really afford. So here I am before you giving you two limited time opportunities:

-I am offering free Rules tutoring lessons in Yu-Gi-Oh (and Vs. System if you want). These would take place over Aim. Please contact me Via Aim @ laskyalexr. This is the perfect opportunity for you if you plan to take a rules knowledge test at nationals.

-You can help pay for my plane ticket by making a small donation through Paypal to exiledforcefreak@gmail.com. You can also send me a personal check, contact me for my address if you wish to donate in such a manner. recomended donation is $5, but all donations help regardless of size.

Thanks in advance :D :D :D

Maybe I didn't make it clear. I already purchased the ticket... but it's really not something I'm able to afford, as it was purchased with money meant for vital living expenses.
