Phantom of chaos and Dark Magician of Chaos
from UDE's Judge Certification Program (YGO)

i was at my local this week and a guy played PoC. He then removed his DMOC and proceeded to search his grave for a spell. I said this was not allowed because of the wording on DMOC. DMOC states when normal or special summoned. PoC doesn't gain DMOCs effect till after he is summoned which, IMO, means he cant search for a spell. What is correct?

what you said is correct, because PoC dosn't gain its effect untill its effect untill after its summoned, however, other Judges correct me if i'm wrong, but even if he called proity on his PoC it still shouldn't work

Discussion is fine, which is why these threads remain open, as long as it's discussion of the question AND the answer given at the Judges Board. However, directly addressing the posting bot doesn't really serve a purpose since, for one, he's not real, and two, the question is being directed to the Judge Certification Program at UDE.
