Jinzo Question

Player A has a face-up Jinzo on his side of the field. Player B (turn player) has 2 Trap cards face down (for imagination's sake, Call of the Haunted and Jar of Greed, ok?) Player B then summons Thousand-Eyes Restrict in ATK position. Player B uses Thousand-Eyes Restrict's effect to take control of Player A's Jinzo and equips it to TER. Since Jinzo is now technically an Equip Spell card, can Player B activate his Trap cards, or since Jinzo is face-up on the field, will it prevent the activation of any Traps period?

Jinzo's effect ONLY works while he is a monster. Once he becomes an Equip, he loses all of his abilities, same as Maju Garzett or Great Maju Garzett. Either of those get equipped and the TER is effectively 0/0. If you really want to get rid of Jinzo, just have a System Down handy to remove him completely.

In conclusion, Yes you can use the set traps once Jinzo is equipped to TER.
