if king tyger wanghu is face up on the field and tsukuyiomi is sumoned what will occur

1- the efct of these monsters will form a chain and resolve

2- these effct will not form a chain because the efct of king tyger is continuous and therefore it will destroy tsukuyomi before its efct has chance to activate

3- none of them

thank you very much

The effects would go on a chain since they're both manditory triggers (you can't "miss the timing" with either). So the turn player's effect would be chain link 1 and the opponent would be chain link 2 (which in most cases would be Tsukuyomi's effect would be chain link 1 and King Tiger would be chain link 2 so Tsuk would be destroyed and then the monster targeted would be turned face down).

so do want form a chain between a continuous effct and a ignition effct BOTh spell speed 1?

i was wandering how is possible continuos effcts resolve in chain

"King Tiger"s effect is not a continuous effect, it's a mandatory trigger, as densetsu_x stated before. From the UDE FAQ:

"If "King Tiger Wanghu" is on the field along with Trigger Effect monsters such as "Mysterious Puppeteer", "Ryu-Kishin Clown", "Sonic Bird", and "Dragon Seeker", then they form a chain."

As you can see, it definitely uses the chain.

I believe this issue has been debated several times on this forum in the past and some feel the 'mandatory trigger' is not correct for "King Tiger", but what can you do when Konami says it's that way?...lol.

[edit]I think I mis-read your second question...lol...so, just in case...
Continuous effects do not use the chain.

Hope this helps!

whats the diference between jowgen and king tyger?

both seems to prevent sumons ( errr more or less)

i also saw there that Exiled Force cannot have its efct when king tyger is on the field

the only explanation i see is that king tyger do have a continuos efct thus kicking in and destroying Exiled Force before its efct has a chance to activate

the way i see the rule in Exiled Force and Mysterious Puppeteer
seems to contradict each other

humm ok

but

following the line of think described for you in the case Exiled Force versus king tyger that effcts spell speed 1 cannot be chained

how is that Tsukuyomi that also has a effct spell speed 1 allowed to be chained to the triguer effct of king tyger that is spell speed 1 too?

And since both are triggered at the same moment you have a Simultaneous Effect (SEGOC). This is covered on the UDE site under Advanced Gameplay. Go read that for more information.
