Knightmare Penguin Vs. Flip Summons.

If KP is flip summoned, do you get it's effect to return 1 card on your opponent's side of the field to his hand?

This card did not say anything about being flip summoned. If you look at spirit monsters, they distinguished flip summoned and flipped face-up separately.

Flipped face up is Flipped Face up ... whether its by Flip Summon or Attacked or whatever..... I am not sure about what you are talking about with Spirits, but I do remember a similar thread about 3 weeks ago that covered a similar scenario..... And it basically said that Flipped Face up covers By effect or by flip summon or attack...

I hope I helped ... if not blame ....ummm... blame it on the rain...ya

Here are the discrepancies:

Tsukuyomi
This card cannot be Special Summoned. This card returns to the owner's hand during the End Phase of the turn that it is Normal Summoned, Flip Summoned or flipped face-up. When this card is Normal Summoned, Flip Summoned, or flipped face-up, flip 1 face-up monster on the field into face-down Defense Position.

There seems to be a distinction between flip summoned and flipped face-up.

Royal Keeper
You can flip this card into face-down Defense Position once per turn during your Main Phase. When this card is flipped face-up, increase the ATK and DEF of this card by 300 points until the end of the turn that this card is flipped face-up.

This was asked in the old Judge's List, and the answer is here, but it was not clear on being flip summoned.

Fushioh Richie
This card can only be Special Summoned from your hand or your Deck by offering 1 "Great Dezard" that has fulfilled the condition as a Tribute. You can flip this card into face-down Defense Position once per turn during your Main Phase. As long as this monster remains face-up on the field, negate the activation and effects of all Spell or Trap Cards that specifically designate this card as a target and destroy them. When this card is flipped face-up, you can Special Summon 1 Zombie-Type monster from your Graveyard in face-up Attack or Defense Position.

5. "Fusioh Richie"'s effect is activated if attacked and flipped face-up by the attack, or if Flip Summoned, or if flipped face-up by a card effect.

In this case, Flip Summoned is considered flipped face-up.

EDIT: So does flipped face-up includes Flip Summoned or not?
