A Judge at a regional in Rochester recently ruled that if Player A uses Snatch Steal to take control of Player B's Strike Ninja and then when on Player A's side of the field he uses his ability to remove himself from the game, that when he returns he will remain on Player A's side. I spoke up and said that's true but he would then revert back to Player B's side of the field. He ruled me incorrect and kept his ruliung in play.
Now I was basing my ruling on this:
[Re: Interdimensional Matter Transporter] If you control your opponent's monster because of "Change of Heart" or "Snatch Steal", and remove the monster with "Interdimensional Matter Transporter", the monster returns to your side of the field, then immediately returns to your opponent's side of the field.
So I see no reason why this would just be a stand in for any card effect that would remove the monster from the field. Which is correct in this situation?
