As usual, I welcome any and all criticism, fixes, suggestions, curses, etc..

Enjoy and Thanks for looking!

Very nice deck, I don't have the time right now to check it deeply but got one doubt. How do you plan to use Mind Control in this deck (Other than getting to directly attack for the turn maybe, since the monster can't attack or be tributed)?

"Mind Control" is used for a couple of different things.

A. Help clear their field so I can attack directly with my other monsters (hopefully).
B. Force them to negate "Mind Control", thus making them lose 1 or 2 cards to my 1.
C. Since it works on face-down monsters, I can see what they have set and possibly use it against them. It's wonderful to "Mind Control" your opponent's face-down "Magician of Faith", "Night Assailant", "Morphing Jar", etc..:D.
D. It confuses the heck out of them as well. Because they say exactly what you said. WTF? You can't attack or tribute it, so why are you using that card?
E. IT'S DIFFERENT! IT'S NOT COOKIE CUTTER! (yet ;)).

P.S. Thank you for the comment on the deck!

traps should be call, torrential and x3 bottomless
Ceasefire if you want, it's a matter of preferance

Ok, monarchs should look like x3 Thestalos & x1 Mobious or x2 of each, another mater of preferance

take out the whole batterman thing and take out the Kuribohs

I suppose dekochi is a matter of preferance but 3 is overkill

take out the Mind Controls and put in another Brain Control

You are missing some staples

You are missing Scapegoat, Nobleman of Crossout, Magician of Faith, and Book of Moon.

If you are gonna run tribute monsters and hand control (a-la thestalos) then you should be running 3 Spirit Reapers and maybe even a Don Zaloog

when running three reapers you can always run a Giant Trunade if you want, t's a matter of preferance

Cyber Jar needs to come out, it will almost always hurt you.

Since you are running 2 Enemy Controllers you could run a Ninja Grandmaster Sasuke if you wanted to.

You should try to fit in more d.d. assailants.

First off, thank you for your suggestions, I really appreciate them.

Yup, all about preference. I agree that "Call" and "Torrential" need/should be in just about every deck. Beyond that, it's all a matter of preference. I've never been a big fan of "Bottomless Trap Hole". It's a great card, but a little too 'cookie cutter' for me.

Yup, again, a matter of preference. You say 'should' look like that. By whose standards? 'Everybody' is trying to run 2 or 3 "Thestalos" now. That's not the purpose of this deck. I wanted to use all the Monarchs for a little more of the 'total' control package, not just hand and Spell/Trap.

Again, these are different. And who wouldn't love getting 3 of these by "Cyber Jar" when the opponent has "Level Limit - Area B" or "Gravity Bind" on the field, or any time for that matter. Three 3 star 3000 ATK/DEF monsters on the field. That kinda screws them over a little.

Quite the contrary, it almost always helps me. Who cares if they get out a beatstick, I'll just 'steal' it next turn. It helps get me the cards I need for 'stealing' their monsters. It can get me the "Batteryman AA"s. Plus, it's my favorite card in the game!

Life point saver. And alternate target for when opponent tries to destroy my face-down "Call" in preparation for their attack.

Again, I beg to differ. It's 3 extra draws. And if one happens to get hit by "Nobleman", then I've thinned by deck by 2 or 3 cards. Yay!

"Mind Control" explained in post above. Gives me an advantage, in my mind at least. I don't care that I can't attack or tribute. I know what it was/is if it was face-down, and it helps to clear their field for the turn.

I would if I could! I don't own anymore!

I wouldn't say I'm 'missing' them Bob...(sorry bad pun on movie quote). I purposely left them out BECAUSE they are considered 'staples'. As you can tell, this deck isn't about 'staples'.

This deck isn't about hand control. It's about more of the 'total' control package. Hand and field. I've built hand control decks in the past and I agree, the cards you mentioned are a must in those decks, but not this one...lol.

I almost did put him in. But the "Enemy Controllers" are more for stopping attacks and taking control of my opponent's monsters to clear their field for my attacks.

Again, I would if I could! I only own 1 of them.

Again, thank you for the suggestions. In any other deck they would probably work flawlessly. I know how good your deck building skillz are, but this deck isn't designed to 'fit in'. It's a deck for the 'next generation' of staples..lol. One can only hope.

I like the "Nimble Momonga"s. They'll probably end up as Side Deck fodder so I can test them out. Hmmm...I can probably go for the total switch out with the side deck and change the deck to an Earth/Beast deck with "Kuroganes" and "Mystic Swordsman LV4"s and stuff, along with more "Granmargs". Hmmm.

Yeah, I noticed my Light and Dark ratio was pretty darn even (unintentionally). I might have to try that out. I could just add him in and see how he works.

Thanks!

Well, it's been a while since I posted updates, so there they are (on 1st post of course..lol ;)). What do you think? It seems to hold it's own now pretty darn well and consistantly too.

Let me know!

Thanks!
