This is another deck I finished up during my hiatus. It's a twist on the old "Soul Control" deckbuild that's basically designed to leave my opponent wide open throughout the entire game.

Got kinda stuck on getting a decent Side Deck together on it, though...a little help on that and/or some suggestions for the deck = mucho appreciado.

I have tried out Aliens myself, and they are quite fun...but don't seem to have the support yet to stand on their own.

Needless to say, this looks like it could be a good mix/surprise.

Cosmic Horror is just nasty when you use your opponent's monster, and is an overlooked card IMO.

I would -1 Mobius +1 Cosmic Horror.

I don't really see much use for the Apprentice Magicians other than defense and Creature Swap, so I'd take out 1 for a Sangan (still good with Creature Swap), and 1 more for a Torrential Tribute.

For the sidedeck, maybe try out more Alien support cards: Crop Circles is quite nice, and maybe Flying Saucer.

Otherwise I would just try a basic side to help against the meta.

Crop Circle is almost a staple in a Alien deck. (I versed against one once) Run 2-3x of those. It's the fastest way to pull out Mother and Cosmic if you got enough monsters on your field.

And even with 2x Brain and 2x Soul Control, I still think your running way too many tributes. Your running 3x Mobius, 2x Zaborg, 2x Mother and Cosmic Horror Gangi'el which is level 7. (Yeah, 1 tribute if you stole it with alien) I'm afraid you might get stuck with nothing but dead cards in your hand. I would recomment a Morphing Jar just in case your really stuck with bad hand. (My dasher deck sometimes get crappy hands since I run 3x Dasher, 2x Blowback, 2x Goldd, 1x DMoC. Seriously, a draw of Morphing Jar saved my day and totally changed the flow of the game in one flip)

And I think Alien deck will get better once that Scatter Bomb comes out in STON. I mean, if your Alien is gunna die by Saku/Mirror/Ring/etc, might as well throw out that quick-play to add a ton of A-Counters on the foe's monster.

I don't think Snipe Hunter is an Alien. It "looks" Alien, but it got nothing to do with A-Counters not to mention it's a Dark/Fiend. Aliens are Light/Reptile

well aliens are reptile... not neccessarily light... this is more like an alien deck with monarchs... monarchs need floaters so they can come out quick and do wreck havoc... you dont have searchers, draw engines nothing... you dont even ahve treeborn frog, which should be like a staple here... you need to focus on more bad case scenarios and what you could do rather then on the potential it could have if you had an ideal hand.

The deck's focusing on Creature Swap, Brain Control, and Soul Exchange for the Monarchs and Aliens. The Aliens also do eventually take control of opponent's monsters, just a bit slower though.

It does help to have some searchers/swarmers in an Alien deck, however. I tried out Nimble M's and they worked out all right. Not sure what I would take out for those.

Don't really know how much room I can make for searchers (although I'm considering giving a swap of Alien Greys and Mother Grizzlies a shot), but as soon as I read "Frog", my brain just went "DEE-Dee-Deeee!" on me. (Thank you, Carlos Mencia...)

So yeah, minor (but possibly massive) change:
-Mobius
+Treeborn

Possible change:
-3x Alien Grey (Warrior and Gangi'el should provide enough A-Counters for Brainwashing Beam and Alien Mother)
+3x Mother Grizzly (to hunt down that frog and thin the deck some.)

Another thought I'm having that some might laugh at me for:
Swapping Cyber Dragon with Gilasaurus. Would be a little more doable with Creature Swap, plus if we're both monsterless it won't leave me a dead draw like Cydra would.
