Monarchy of Souls

With 2x GK's spy, Dekoichi, MoF, and BoM, I have to wonder if there's room for Tsuki?

I personally don't like Tsukuyomi and GK Spies don't really count because reflipping them is pointless. I haven't really gotten the chance to use Dekoichi yet but if it works well, I may consider a second one and fitting in a Tsukuyomi. That all depends on how good Dekoichi works in my deck. :D

And about the Nimble Momonga's.

No.

Eh... I myself have always been a fan of Blowback Dragon... course, I know you don't like that card... but still, it can be quite effective in the soul control deck style.

I do wonder about 3x Saku and a Widespread... After all, if your goal is to take control of the opponent's monsters and tribute them, woulnd't it be better to destroy their M/T rather than monsters? I reccommend dropping two Sakus for another Dust Tornado and either Bait Doll, NoE, or Giant Trunade.

lol...i only have one underscore in my name pssvr....im with you on the Blowback Dragon tho...thats a fun card for monarchs....ive never been a fan of widespreads and 3 saku's tho...ive always used at least one Royal Decree in my monarch decks to prevent any bottomless accidents...

It took me a few hours to finally decide what to respond with.

I THOUGHT I MADE THIS CLEAR THE FIRST TIME, NO Blowback Dragon. RESPECT MY DECISION AS IT IS NO.

And also, the 3 Sakuretsu Armor and 1 Widespread Ruin being bad is wrong. I have 2 Dust Tornado, 2 Mobius the Frost Monarch, Breaker the Magical Warrior, Mystical Space Typhoon, Heavy Storm for Spell/Trap removal. I have enough. Monster removal is 3 Sakuretsu Armor 1 Widespread, 1 Soul Exchange, 2 Smashing Ground. I keep it 7-7 for a reason. Hand destruction is 2 Spirit Reaper 2 Thestalos's, putting it at 4. Then there are cards that provide more. Let's say Thestalos takes from hand, a Snatch Steal. Next turn they use a Smashing Ground on him. That's 2 cards they lost to Thestalos. So I think that I'm making myself clear that destruction of all kinds is very much stablized and regulated in my deck.

And I'm not including D.D. Warrior Lady and 3 D.D. Assailants into Monster removal because they are not stable monster removal (i.e. not definite).

I did not ask for edits or suggestions, they are welcome, but if I do not aggree with them, I will let you know. I did however ask for ratings. Comments of all kinds are welcome and I'm not telling you guys to stop suggesting Blowback Dragon, I'm just saying no to the suggestion.

I've just been playing a Monarch deck the last couple of days and tweeking mine. I seem to be having excellent success with Twin Headed Behemoth. The fact that he is special summon in the end phase often gives me the monster to tribute.

I've been messing with Battle Footballer (in absence of a couple of Gear Golem the Moving Fortress which are in my youngest son's Machine Deck) The Battle Footballers have been great agaist Cyber Dragon not to mention a number of other monsters. 2100 Def and 1000atk isn't anything to scoff at.

I can understand where Twin-Headed Behemoth would do some good in my deck, but the fact that he won't special summon if I tribute him, hinders his usage a bit more. Sure, if my opponent destroys him he'll come back for a spare monster, but that's not taking into the fact that he'll get Sakuretsu Armored, Widespreaded, destroyed somehow during my turn. Meaning MY turn will end, and my Twin-Headed Behemoth would die. There is an apparent advantage right there (having to use 2 cards to destroy him) But I find that Gravekeeper's Spy works well to stay on the field, unless a Cyber Dragon comes along, which is where high defense monsters would come in. I've thought about putting in two Gear Golem the Moving Fortresses in place of my Gravekeeper's Spys but Gravekeeper's Spy gives me more tributing monsters. Gives me a bigger field presence and if say my opponent has a D.D. Assailant out and attacks my GKSpy, he loses 300 and I get another GKSpy out, giving me almost massive field presence (yup, 2 is massive)

I've been blabbering on for a while now but I will consider the defense switches, I actually have 2 Gear Golem the Moving Fortress sitting in front of me. I may play test but I'm almost definitely not going to make it permanent.
