Newdoria
Effect Monster (Fiend / DARK / 4 Stars / ATK 1200 / DEF 800)
When this card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard as a result of battle, destroy 1 monster on the field.
"¢ You can destroy a face-down monster with "Newdoria".
Ah, the wonder that is Newdoria. I personally adore this card, because it's extremely versatile. It can be used aggressively to get a 2-for-1 trade (suiciding into a monster with 1200 ATK, rare, but lots of card advantage).
This card has great comboes with Creature Swap and, less effectively, Shien's Spy. Since it's a graveyard effect, even if they control it, you get the effect. It's an automatic 1-1, unless a Dark Ruler Ha Des or some other negation/non-battle means kill it. This means your opponent always has to make a 1-1 trade to get rid of it. They may even have to overextend to get around it.
This card is Dark, so it's immediate chaos food. It's searchable by several means, including Sangan and Mystic Tomato, and its 1200 ATK and 800 DEF ensure that it will die, which is usually a good thing for the user of this card. It also provides immediate psychological benefits, as your opponent won't have an early guess as to if you are running Fiend or Chaos, so its splashability is really good.
This card is Level 4, so it'll get hit by 2 out of 3 of the big stall cards. It's a bad topdeck when you are losing badly, but otherwise, you should be glad to see it. Otherwise, not too much going against, besides its dependence on hitting the Graveyard.
When playing this card, you can use 2 styles: 1) Be overly aggressive with it. or 2) Be defensive and throw off your opponent's tempo. Also, be weary of Nobleman of Crossout when playing this card defensively.
This card is really splashable in Chaos, but is most at home in a Fiend deck. It's an overall good card.
Advanced: 4/5 Really sweet card.
Traditional: 3/5 Mass monster removal is back, that hurts this card.
Sealed Pack: 5/5 Best pull possible in some cases.
Limited: 4/5 Great pull.
