As I'm sure most of you already knew the next promo lined up to be released in Shonen Jump is Embodiment of Apophis. I just got my November '05 issue yesterday and Embodiment was included with it. So if anyone is interested in picking up this card look for that issue, of course it has Yugi on the cover and mentions that there is a free Ultra rare card inside.

Yeah, I got mine about a week ago. There is also a page on how to make the best of using Embodiment of Apophis, although what they have is part what any duelist should know and part bad plays. IMO Apophis is a very vulnerable card because it can be MSTed or hit by Zaborg's effect. So equipping cards to it seems dangerous to me.
I have to agree with both of you. It is a very vulnerable card, it can be removed just like any monster or spell/trap card which makes it probably the most vulnerable card in the game. Granted it can be a life saver because you can special summon it in defense but other than that I don't see how you can rely on it for much else than that.

its tribute food, thats all.
any deck that requires 2 or more tributes, this helps you out.
the card it self is the cheeziest of all the trap cards
but it does have its little uses here and there.

basically our first 2 were Blue eyes and Red eyes, then we got Archfiend of Gilferd and then we got Cyber Harpy Lady, then we got Amazoness Chain Master, now we got Embodiment of Apophis and in november we will get Exchange of the spirit which is WJ-004
what im wondering though is, what promos will be givent at the Shadow of Inifinity sneak peek. since the WJ promos end at Exchange of the spirits
