Official Regional Forums Update Thread

Recent events in my personal and CoG life have caused me to be behind on posting Regional Information. Rather then trying to play catch-up, I would like to start posting the Regional Info as early a week or even a month in advance. What this would mean is that I would skip the regionals for for the next weekend(s) or so and jump straight to a later date so I don't end up staying up till 6:00 in the mourning trying to post a given weekend's regionals all at one time.

Let me apologize for not keeping up since my intial postings. It is a rather time consuming process, but if I schedule my time right I can get a early start on these things and keep a regular listing posted.

I also plan on adding each regional to the Events Calendar so if you want to use the Reminder function for a given event you can.

Also, if anyone would like to offer some suggestions on how to make this process more informative, please feel free. I can't promise I can get all the info, but I will try. Things like Vendor Info and Judge Certifications are not usually easy to find. But one potrential way is if you are "in the know" you can PM me any additional information you may have.

Name Change: From "Regional Info Delay" to "Official Regional Forums Update Thread"

Changing the name of this thread to make the thread more useful overall. This thread will now reflect any updates that are made to this section of the forum.

New Announcements have been posted up top and I've developed a totaly new system of keeping track of these events. It won't affect the look of this forum any. But it will keep things more on track. Thanks for bearing with me until I could get things sorted out.

If you have questons about regional events you can PM me, and I'll help you out as best I can.

January 7th and 8th

International regional events for the weekend of January 7th and 8th 2006 have been posted and stickied. Check to see if there is an event near you!

Yet Another Delay

Due to even more computer problems, I completely lost the setup I had put into place to keep Regionals up to date. As a result, I'm going top have to start over and start with regionals around the end of this month or in Feburary. This is not what I had planned, but if all goes well we can finally get a consistant and comprehensive regionals listing going and going strong. Thanks again for bearing with me.

Forum Events Calendar

Regional Events for June have been added to the Events Calendar. The calendar can be accessed through the link on the left side of your screen below your avatar and on the Main Forum Page at the very bottom.

I've stickied June's Regionals and will keep them stickied until shortly after the event date. Please let me know if you have any additional information you would like me to add. I'm making a desperate attempt to stay updated and pushing myself even harder to stay on top of these events. I think our members deserve to have all the info they can at their fingertips for these events.

You may also start seeing Regionals posted much earlier then usual. As such, there will be no descernable way to know how early events will be posted. I'll simply be attempting to post them as early as possible.

Just so you know, gang, I'm planning on reviving my updates. I believe I've come up with an easier way to post them all, without sacrificing the information you need for them

Well, I've got this weekends Regionals all ready to post. But for some reason, I can't get the feeds to redirect here. I'll take care of this as late as tonight (my time zone). Worst case scenario is I have to do it manually. Which might take me a little bit longer then normal.

I've had the worst time getting these things to post, and I still have a couple of events that are hanging up for Kentucky, San Jose and Australia. I'll try and get them up before tonight, but at this point, it looks like they might not go through till after the event is over or at all.
