old style fiends

Holy cow... overall nice deck... but holy cow... Old School Fiends with NO Dark Jeroid or Newdoria... wow... and no Tomatos to fuel the engine... I see the germs...

Very untypical fiend deck man.... good job with the monster lineup... I would lose the Confiscation for one more Brain Control.. since you are running so many Tribbies... otherwise looks nice ... would not mind seeing a couple of Nightmare Wheels in here.... would bring the count up to 42 but I think it would be a good fit... lol...

So ya.. my only REAL suggestion is the Brain Control... the rest are just things to think about... laterz

well!!! thanks to all!!!

- puppet magic of dark ruler is only for summon dark ruler because it can't be special summmoned when it dies right?

how many puppet must i put in if i'll think to use it???

- Dark Jeroid is a good idea, but for who can i put in jeroid?

- i don't use Newdoria because i use Night Assailant... if Night Assailant wasn't a fiend i had used Newdoria...

- Nightmare Wheels is a good idea but i like to use 6 traps, so my 6 traps are a "selection"... anywat i can think about it...

- good about Brain Control for Confiscation...

- is a good idea to put in mefist? maybe for Summoned Skull???

The Puppet Magic of Dark Ruler

Click on that link. No, you can't summon Ha Des with it, because he simply cannot be summoned from the grave. But what you can do is things like summon Jeroid to get his effect, then play Puppet to get a different 4-star to kill their mobius. A devious combo. Or you can RFP 2x 4-star demons to get your necrofear back. Really, the possibilities are endless. If you want to see some very interesting use of Puppet Magic, do a forum search for my "The Dark Ruler Shall Be Pleased..." deck.

I'd say...

-1 GeAf
-1 A-soldier
-1 Night Assailant
-1 Bait Doll
-1 Bottomless

+1 Puppet Magic
+1 Dark Jeroid
+1 Newdoria
+1 RftDD
+1 Nightmare Wheel

Hey dadejay! Gotta love the fiends! Especially going old schoool...

YES! I love Wall of Illusion, by far my favorite fiend and I think it works great in here. I even think you could make use of a second one to help balance things out with all the GEAFs that hit defense position. I'd say drop the Night Assailant for it. The only two flippers I'm seeing here is Cyber and MoF and the discard I don't think is really worth it. If you're looking for monster removal, I'd say go with a Newdoria. I find it FAR more reliable.

Call me old fashioned, but I could see the 2 Dust Tornados going out for a Magic Drain and a Seven Tools. Granted the current meta is heavy with BTH and Sakuretsu, I always like a balanced approach to things, because you never know when you'll run up against somebody going anti-meta.

As crazy as this may sound, I say drop the Scapegoat for an Axe of Despair. All of you fiends get a devastating boost to this and it pairs especially well with Wall of Illusion.

Bark of Dark Ruler is another "classic" card, but I'm not sure where to work it in at this point. Hope this helps!

I would say keep the Bait Doll and drop the Dark Hole for a Puppet Magic. Bait Doll will be even more useful nowadays since you can trigger those Sakuretsus and BTHs and get the card Recycled for future use. Call me old fashioned, but Dark Hole was never too friendly to the fiends unless you were looking to try some fast Necrofood. Cyber Jar is nice becuase you can special summon a slew of fiends in, but the Dark Hole always rubbed me wrong.

Word up. Its your deck and you build it the way it works best for you. I'm glad to know Dark Hole is working for you. Let us know when you update the thread with the changes you make. I'd love to see the output.

keep Summoned Skull.... not only is he a great beatstick... but he gets the Dark Ruler effect when dark RUler is on the field with him.... Mefist is good tech, but sometimes you just go for straight firepower....
