pyramid & newdoria?

Right, but apparently the simple answer wasn't good enough, since this is basic chain mechanics, not to mention it has been answered before. So I gave the not-so-simple answer, in hopes it would clear that up once and for all.

Actually, his question hasn't been asked before, that I can remember. Similar questions have been asked about using "Newdoria"s effect to destroy the newly summoned monster, but never asked about destroying the "Pyramid Turtle".

And who answered with the 'simple' answer before me?...I don't see anybody...do you?

Ok, ok, semantics. :p His effect IS a Graveyard effect, but I was trying to point out that "Pyramid Turtle" couldn't be chosen to be destroyed by an effect because he's already destroyed by battle. You know..the whole 'Flip Effect monsters can't target themselves when destroyed by battle' thing...lol..:tssk:

It's true. It was a different question asked before. However, the scenario has been explained in it's entirety before, so yes, I do see the simple answer given, weeks ago. BTW ah... semantics :)
