Question about Exiled Force's Priority

First of all I know the player has priority, not Exiled Force ;)

Ok, my question:

I have a face-down Magician of Faith and a face-down Mirror Force. My opponent summons Exiled Force, and attacks with it. I activate Mirror Force to destroy Exiled Force.

Can the controller of Exiled Force use his priority to destroy my face-down monster anyway? I don't think so, because monster effects cannot be activated in the Battle Phase (because when you do, you go immediately to your Main Phase 2), and because it is being destroyer by Mirror Force (wich can only be activated in the BP) I think Exiled Force dies without using it's effect.

I'm no expert, but isn't the whole Main Phase/Battle Phase activation of effects monster abilities a question or two on the Level 2 judge test?

you can only activate Exiled Force in main phase one or two, and you cannot chain it to something because its speed is not fast enough. I learned this on this forum with a question about BLS, Chaos Sorcerer, and priority. All trigger or ignition effects are spell speed 1 and can only be activated to start a chain, not in the middle of them (in response to a trap, magic, or other monster's ability).

incorrect, sorry, but your wrong.

At any point during a player's Main Phase, they have the priority to start new chains, being the turn player. This means Spell Speed 1 effects, Spell Speed 2 effects, etc. You should ask your opponent if he/she would like to call priority for an effect/chain. You cannot rob your opponent of priority by saying that they:
a) didn't call priority
b) took too long, hence passing priority
c) can't because you get to respond to a summon (WHICH YOU CANNOT DO IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!)

anyway, priority applies to players, and the right of the turn player to start new chains.

Thought it might even be on the Lv 1 test, as it is a pretty basic concept in the game.
