I would only side 1 spell canceller - 1800 tribute??? bad but effect is ok.
D.D. Scout Plane why?? Besides I only have 1 =[
Mobius/Tetran I can see the reasoning but again Tetran is a tribute for only 1800 but he has an decent defence and effect i guess.
Drillroid - I would go with LV2 only coz it kills effects but Drill is a machine so iono.
Solemn - I've never really liked this card - too much LP cost for my liking.

lets see
did you read the whole text for tetran? that "breaker" effect is brutal vs burn or gadgets... as well as not destroyed by battle until counters are gone also if you use rush/hmsp/blast w chain etc 1800 is ok
and its machine >feeds chimmy
spell cancellers - again are for effect - brutal vs burn, monarchs, chimeratech etc
it negates instant fusion, overload, powerbond, enemy controller, soul exchange, brain control, fissure, smashing, ancient gear drill premature burial, dimension fusion and on and on (gadgets without rush?hah!) also scc orl winner paul lynn's only loss was to a 3x sidedeck of spell canceller - check his deck list and see why
d d scouts are for removal matchups- banisher of the radiance, marco cosmos/dimensional fissure and they're machines>fuel chimmy>fuel your own rfdd/dimension fusion
return from a different dimension is for both removal matchups and opponents who side in system dowm against your machines
as for drillroid you opponent will get flips only - but since he kills by effect not battle recruiters are shut down(tomatoe/shining angel/giant rat etc)
solemn judgement kills most chains with spell speed alone, wave motion, any otk/chimeratech combo, field clearers, basically to secure a win or prevent a loss
but thats just my humble opinion...you should use what you're comfortable with
also - for what its worth - you may want to consider forcing yourself to use cards you have trouble with (accepting losses) to get the hang of them in preparation for bigger tournaments

Personally I don't think using rush and that is even worth it in an otk. I know his effect the problem is I don't want to overload the deck with too many tribute monsters which could slow it down even though they have good effects - I may try one though and see how it works.

If it negates Overload (the best way to bring out chimera then whats the point in running it? Unless you get it and Jinzo into you graveyard, overload into chimera and then play Dimension Fusion but that may be very fiddly.

That is true but like I said I only have the 1 and they are highly sort after in Sydney atm so it will probably be some time before I can get 2 more - and I would need them very quickly as regionals is very soon

That is true - I'll think about it.

I still don't see the point. Very few people if any run a Kuriboh and its obv you will trunade...but hmmm things like Waboku and Threatning Roar it could kill...just its never really been helpful to me in the past.

My text tournament is Regionals and I cannot afford losses there. There is pretty much krap all places to play yu-gi-oh in sydney and most of them are like 3 hours away for me and YVD is like dead so all i have atm is msn and usually no one is on for me to play anyway =[

ahh welll - as i said - use whatyou arecomfortable with - just ask yourself what am i likely to be facing at that regionals....look at other regionals and sjc decklists look at your deck and see how you will match up... even in mirror matches.... will it be luck of the draw or do you posses wrenches to throw into the works?? have a plan...and best of luck :D

well i have my deck sorted now - i just need to play test a lil bit more but i've been thinking.

I know it's not probably the best place to ask but anyway - i'm not sure if anywhen else gets like this or if it's just me but when things take a slight turn i pannic (spelling ? lol). Even if it's not a major thing. The problem is I suffer from a servere anxiety disorder and once i get anxious i pannic like i mentioned before and i rush and make silly mistakes without thinking my moves through.

This also happens when I am facing an opponent I know is one of the best or I always have trouble with or is being very rude or arrogant and obnoxious towards me whilst playing.

Now I know Yu-Gi-Oh! is only a game but this problm pertains to the rest of my life and not just Yu-Gi-Oh!. Im just curious to see what helps you guys when you get like this.

Hopefully if i can manage to do it in Yu-Gi-Oh I can do it in more real life situations rather than just in a card game :D

i say put in a few dimension fusions and/or returns

if you can pull jinzo and blowback from you rfp pile.... then that just about settles anything, specially if you have an angry 13-headed machine dragon thing waiting to blow off some steam. you are running chimeratech, right??? :D
