Why Medusa Worm AND Swarm of Scarabs? You'd be better off with 2 Scarabs.

I meant to put Swarm of Locusts. I did this really late last night and wasn't paying attention. Anyway, I would be running Swarm of Scarabs if I had one. Medusa Worm is the next best thing.

I'll second that. We've got a GIANT tub of commons and no Scarabs. What the crap, all these secrets and ultra's but no commons. This sucks.

I've tried the Swarms in my Burn deck. I couldn't get to use their effects that often.

Then cut one Secret Barrel and you're set. I ran a 43-card deck for a long time. It was too slow. 42 is just fine--but no more. I'd seriously advise against going over 42.

Normal Spell

Each Player selects 1 card from his/her hand, then looks at the Level of the selected cards. The card with more Levels returns to the hand of the player who selected it. The player who selected the card with fewer Levels takes 1000 Life Points damage and sends the card to the Graveyard. If a non-Monster Card is selected, it is treated as Level 0. If they are the same Level, each player returns his/her card to his/her hand.

I've used this thing in previous burn decks. It works fairly well when you max out Lava Golem.

I suggest using both Magical Merchant and Des Lacooda. Three Des Lacooda and two or three Magical Merchant are the best amounts. Your draw engine should contain only three cards.

Tsukuyomi, Magical Merchant, and Des Lacooda. I suggest that you maybe try them out. Another great card in Burn decks is Des Feral Imp. Solid stats for a Flip Effect and an effect with a lot of potential.

If you plan on using Cannon Soldier, then use Last Will to bring out Stealth Bird and/or Des Lacooda from your deck. It helps speed up your strategy by engaging your decks' two engines.
